1.5 is insane, sure it needed a tweak but 10-20% would have been fine? With the road and acceleration changes Blitz is going to be insane and make SU-85's worthless to build again. Balance aside, conceptually Blitzkrieg is just a dumb idea, it is a free escape if you are caught out of position and it allows easy flanks that you shouldn't have been able to get. All it does is promote and reward miss micro and poor play.
Panzerfusileers are absolutely my favourite play style for OKW. Panzerfusilieers are just everything OKW need; they're strong, very powerful long range, have good grenades making them good against close range assaults, and especially since they have AT Grenades which are a god damn blessing for OKW. They synnergise very well with the Fuel into munitions transfer. You don't need much fuel income as OKW since how incredibly cost effective Pumas are if controlled correctly. Once I get 2 Squads of PanzerFusilieers with G43's and a Volks with a Shrek, I then put munitions into fuel income and go for second Puma or Panther.
The STurmofficer buff is fantastic too, and force retreat can be nice against Vetted shocks, MG or even Lieutenant and LMG Airbourne.
Raketenwerfer is weak and especially in early when it can't be that well covered with infantry since you spend MP on AT weapon, while M3 mobility can just drove around your AT gun. Your only hopes are
- place it in building, camp some and get another one and try some pushing
- get AT gun along with your infantry to some sector and on the retreat routes place some mines (OKW mine is only 30 and works as good as teller mine), best on roads.
But this might work vs 1 or 2 M3's, if enemy just spammed like 5 of them (had game like this) then there's nothing that you could do, it's hard to wait for volks getting shreck and even so, they reload it so slow that squad could die twice
There's your problem. Stop trying to Raketenwerfer against M3's, it seems like the intuitive counter but it's absolutely not.
I like equipping RE with Bazookas so you don't lose anti infantry fire power, but upgrading RE with Bars and M1919 is kinda silly, the squad is just too squishy and the upgrade weapon won't make up for the other 75% of the squad having dreadful damage. Riflemen also have much better utility with nades and veterency scaling.
Volley fire is kind a silly though, I would like to see it get a nerf on the effectiveness of Volley fire, Currently Volley fire is just a 20munitions win engagement button and the only room for counterplay by the German is take a garrison.
Increasing the cost so it's never used again is a boring change, the best change would be to increase a level of dynamic and interaction to make it counterable. Make it be very weak at suppressing units behind cover or at range, but keep the same level of fast supression to units in the open. That way the German has a chance to react by just staying behind cover, but then Volley fire can be used as a tool to stop Sturmpioneer assaults or anything else out of position.
If volley gets nerfed too much I'd hope to see RE get a DPS buff to compensate, because at the moment they're awful volley fodder. You don't even need them to repair since you have tank crews, nor do you need them to tech up since the buildings are already there. You don't even need them for mines since they can't plant them. As it stands Rear Echelon are basically just... minesweeper and fuel cache Echelon.
M3's seem so much worse than they are because people keep trying to use RakatenWerfers against them. Just go Triple Sturmpios and OKW early game is fine, just rather more delicate.

It's important to differentiate APM and micro. Company of Heroes is an incredibly in-depth micro focused gRTS, but can and is played with a very low APM compared to lots of other RTS games, not just StarCraft II.
