With what i read here I´d say if Stuka get atleast some penetration it would more likely be "working as intended" afterwards.

Yeah no, the 60 range stug was meant to be a joke.
But to be honest: OST has no non-doc 60 range vehicle and people are discussing about a quite cheap tank that could then even outrange OSTs indirect fire options.

SU76 is missing a role and i totally agree with that. But for what it costs i'd say it functions really good. |

I dont know man.. Maybe you should try to play some Axisfirst, just like the others recommended. Things look very different when using the "problem" on your own.
I'm having a hard time with a lot of allied stuff, i dont play pvp with them yet as i still struggle against expert bots on open maps with every allied faction.
When i get over this "training", unfair disadvantages look very different afterwards. |

If it got +5 range people would go crazy. If other AT guns would get retreat people would loose their minds.
That "thing" dies very quickly and the disadvantage in range is the reason for retreat function.
Also, the retreat is not always wise to use because it turns around first and lacks basic controls like backwards moving and cant be turned around efficiently when cloaked.
(Also i kinda managed to move it while being cloaked. couldn´t reproduce that one though)

If so many people think the Mp40 is good, why is noone equipping it then.
Don´t change a running system. It works the way it is now depending on you playstyle and enemy.

I don´t see how more than one mp40 squad would be any kind of beneficial except for the grenades. Obers are way too expensive and offer no snare to be a compensation for the lack of mid-long range battle. Unupgraded volks are already a pain in the a**
In the late game volks would be a massive muni bleed to get atleast something out of them. Not efficient enough.
I do agree on the flame nade part. It´s a no-brainer against weapon crews, but in my point of view it doesnt do much damage. It forces units to move - thats something, but allied mainline doesn´t have much of a problem with moving and shooting anyway.. Thats why if feel Stg are an allround-upgrade, it compensates for a normal grenade.
Edit: Hetzer has to be changed. it is rarely effective. Just against bad players that only blob. The timing would change that. A Hp decrease might be an interesting compensation.
Wouldn´t change much about it´s mobility tho. Especially not nerf that. |
