100% accurate at-nades and faust need to change back to what sticky bombs in vcoh are. Meaning that they only connect if the vehicle stays within range. It's absolutely stupid seeing at nades and faust traveling a massive distance.
+1. Also would be cool if AT nades/Faust had a chance to destory the gun instead of the engine. Would provide different situations to play out instead of the same effect every time.
All for 2v2 forgot to say. Can win the early/mid game but soon as the late game starts my units just start dropping. Once they have a defensive line up i can't find a viable way to break it without loosing to much.
Any got any advice on this? my units just melt to everything late game and then its over. Flame tanks T34-85's, sniper spam, shock troop spam or normally a combo of the lot. V depressing watching a flame tank burn a vet 3 unit in seconds
At first I want to say that I totally agree with your post. I want to add that IMO the new abilities in the new "Close Air Support" commander are also going into the totally right direction. The shorter and especially cheaper anti Infantry strafe fits an exciting gameplay so much more than for example the abusive long and expensive Opel Strafe. This new kind of abilities work as a spicey support of your non-donctrinal CORE units without having a too big influence. Same goes to the short recon run. These two abilites are kinda taken from vCOH's airborne doctrine. They reward skill in terms of hitting the right timing etc.
Again +1. The thing i keep seeing from everyone now is CORE units. When i'm playing soviets i barely need any of of my main army units when i have so many choices for instant call on. Teching up needs to be a main part of the game but as people have already said many people nearly forego this completely.
Same issue here. conscript spam right to t43-85 spam with a couple of katyushas. On maps such as crossing the woods it seems almost impossible to beat right now.
I agree the German sniper is great for MP bleed. The issue is that if he dies quickly, either from RNG events or bad play/being outplayed its often gg. Can be quite hard to replace that loss.
Would love to give him some binoculars though. Extended sight zone but only in a cone shape. Be great to use with paks and stugs and would keep him further away for danger.
Actually i think the main thing that has come from this post, is that this is the most polished commander currently available and that the others need to have some abilities changed. Then their abilities may complement each other better giving us more choice. Be nice to have commanders fit play-styles better than have one the the top pick of the bunch.
