Thread: The imbalance between Allied and Axis Infantry Anti-tank 13 Nov 2014, 07:54 AM Why are you always crying for equality ? The axis handheld AT may be better, but you should compare all parts of a match. In the early game you have a huge advantage as USF. Rifles are very strong and you can put a wehr player in a really bad spot with fast nades or fast m20. Even in coh1 you were not supposed to kill heavy armor with shrecks. You'd rather get some combined arms with atguns and inf supp. And we don't even talk about jackson. In a 1v1 situation they are extrem strong and in 2v2's etc you can just get a train and rape all the armor from distance. And don't say they would get countered by schrecks. How about supporting tanks with ai inf ? Jesus.. play aoe if you want symetric balance In: COH2 Balance

But in general this patch leads the balance and the gameplay to a right direction. I played a few games as Soviets and it doesn't feel underpowered at all. I think it's a good patch and you should start improving yourself instead of flaming in the forums. Give yourself some time and don't assume if you played 500+ hours coh2 your micro and decisionmaking can adapt within two or three games. The dynamic feels good now and I'm sure they'll hotfix the "pio problem" In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: Germans Anti tank capabilities.9 Dec 2013, 12:08 PM I don't think that we saw major balance issues in this game. Barton just played really really bad. Expecially his makro. Ostwind was his first fail. It was obvios that some kind of armor is on the way (omg is well known for 34/85's) . Second fail was to save up for 2 Tigers. Stugs would've been better. Not only due to the range advantage. Mark target is uneffective angainst many small tanks and 4 stugs should be able to snipe a t34 faster than you might think. Third fail: No teller and no paks.So what, why should he win without all these obvios counters to omg's strat. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: New Patch14 Nov 2013, 19:03 PM Unbelievable, I think under other circumstances this might be interesting but the current soviet meta is 4~5 min t70 rush. With this change you aren't forced to wait a few munits until you pick the doctrin to gain mapcontroll. The industry t70 rush gets the biggest advantage by this hotfix. This is messed up. Early game always used to be short, but with this op commander it nearly doesn't exist. Back to vcoh. In: COH2 Balance
