Performance wise, it is great. Runs smooth on pc with decent hardware, runs great with good hardware here.
Heard the consoles are having dips to like the 20 fps line lol. Hope none of you have a console verions.

I mean it's a trade off between "how durable do I want it to be". A bren carrier one shot by AT guns and 2 shot by most anything else.
The buffs it provides alone are worth the cost. The recon plane is just icing on the cake.
With how early you can get a bren command vehicle, it can get pretty nutso.
In the later stages of the game, I don't mind putting it on a Centaur since I generally want one as an AA platform but it's not a front line combat unit later in the game.
Uhm currently people use Command Vehicle for the recon, not the buff at least in 1v1. The speed debuff is very severe, my Bren have trouble keeping up with IS and generally blobbing is not encouraged for Brit, IS is not fusillier horde.
So if Relic want to make a change, add muni cost for recon and remove all the nonsense debuff, make it so that the tank should toggle between command mode and normal mode. Command mode: the tank is immobilized + disable main gun, provide buff + able to call recon. This should encourage a more mobile UKF gameplay. |

You're right, they should continue to update the game for free and then when the company runs out of money and they have to lay everyone off we can complain even more about how the game isn't supported
Optimization problem exists since release and Relic still hasn't fixed it till now.
Useless commander still not fixed either (NKVD, Defense Doctrine).
So yeah saying player should pay for new commanders while old ones are not fixed is absurd. The game cost $60 on release, you paid full price for it and still need to wait for patch as if this is a F2P MMO. |

Well IS got a damage per shot reduction but a ROF increase, also imo they outperform volks and grens easily..
Churchill now costs pretty much the same as a tiger
640 Manpower, 230 fuel for a tiger, Churchill 540/180, 50 fuel difference 60 manpower, so I wouldn't call them the same, also consider you can have more then 1 Churchill on the field at once,
6 pounder the same price as a pak but with worse vet
6 pounder has better ROF I believe and has increased accuracy against vehicles, don't forgot the Zis has the same price so your point?

Against OKW and turtled opponents not really.
Try using Base arty and you will know how crap it is, it cannot even hit OKW truck.
IS does not have a ROF increase, their out of cover debuff is less than before, their in cover performance is worse than before so overall a nerf because nobody use IS out cover.
Churchill + Anvil cost equal Tiger. More than 1 Churchill is a pipe dream in 1v1.
70 muni for heavy engineer is too much, the cost should be reduced consider how late it is. Reduced movement speed is a very big nerf for engineer, they are much more vulnerable to rifle nade and volk can still run up and throw flame nade to their face. Not to mention tank crush.
Overall Brit got nerfed hard and Relic still have not fixed Brit problem with garrisoned building. Indirect fire currently is bugged against building and anybody suggests Wasp is smoking weed consider how fragile the Bren is.

Command vehicle is the only reason why anybody builds a Bren. Any other tanks are rendered unusable due to the debuff. Alternatively, AEC make good command tank for team game. Recon plane spam + ISU = lol |
The thing is, the cooldown is only slightly longer than the ability duration. It's a pretty long recon flight, so if it doesn't get shot down you have very little downtime between planes.
You can basically use it every minute.
Command vehicle is borderline OP in team game, setting it behind 120mm mortar and everything in the area is just nuked. For 1v1, usually the recon got shot down by the abundance of pintle MG, 222 autocannon or flak truck. |

I think the safest overall strat is Luftwaffe with T1 into flak HQ, then generally P4.
OKW can struggle Vs inf and having early Mgs then flak HQ gives good map control, or at least some! Then p4 can dish heavy inf damage while still helping shreks and rakketens Vs mediums.
Luchs might be good, but its so much riskier as vehicle snare + medium or at gun spells its doom.
There are several strategys I like the idea of staying only medic truck and using call in tanks plus JP4. I loved that strat with old elite armour for P4s. Ive tried it with oswind, but failed. Its just really hard to maintain map presence if you dont have Mgs and or flak HQ.
Against Brit, pure T1 => Ostwind can totally work, JLI + volk is enough to hold back IS until Ostwind hit the field and Jpz IV is an excellent AT + anti-emplacement unit. |
