As UK you can try sniper, gren spam means low MP, bleed him to death and if he blob, try to bait him into Vickers, for late game Tommy with Bren is superior to gren. |
it does a thrilling 160 dmg
Lol so better stick with SU-76 horde for now. When I get a heavy TD, I expect it to hit hard, not tickle heavy like that. M10 with HVAP is better in every way and much cheaper, Jackson can now spot and fire, Firefly gets skill Tulip and blitz from Hammer. Seriously what advantages does the SU-85 got compared with other heavy TD?
|
What about giving the M3A1 some ability to actually scale into the late-game through the support role? It's not going to be on the front-line after the first 5 minutes and it's not that strong in counter-harassment, so give it something else.
I've experimented in the CE mod where you pay munitions to give it an ambulance healing aura so Soviets can choose to pay munitions rather than MP for healing, but there are plenty of other ways. Maybe some sort of stationary camo for scouting, mobile repairs, maybe have Kubel mini-map hack, etc, etc.
This plz, currently most SU vet ability are uselss compared to new factions, give it some late game utility would be nice. |
Hey so the new Su-85 does it do 200dmg/shot like Jackson/Firefly or old 160dmg? Cuz I'll take alpha over dps everyday. |
Molotovs suck just because of 2 things:
1. Speed of throwing.
2. Range of throwing.
Both of this things just making using that grenade too dangerous for your conscripts, cos they very often dying under fire, while trying to throw Molotov + it's very easy to dodge that grenade. Even MG-42 can move out of buidling before it will hit the ground.
I think, that here is 2 ways:
1. Improve both of those Molotovs stats - range and speed of throwing, but increase greande cost to 20-25 ammo.
or
2. Change Molotovs to normal grenades. Seriously, Molotovs weren't stock soviet grenade, specially in late war. There were a lot of normal grenades like RGD-33 or RG-42. Molotovs mostly used as weapons by partisan groups or at most early stages of war, when were problems with logistic and getting normal weapons to frontline soldiers.
Anyway, something should be done about molotovs, really. Those are worst grenades in game, and with them equiped worst soldiers in game. And excuse that "it's cheap, everything OK" doesn't work. I don't need cheap but useless shit. I want units and their abilities perform effectively. Molotovs don't do it right now.
And about cheapness of Mollies, how about inf nade, same price, way better power. I don't understand the logic behind Mollies either, it's not Dota when abilities are balanced by casting time, give it proper animation and adjust the cost plz. |
One thing bothers me is that COH2 unit have no special VA for night maps like vCOH, dunno why Relic skims on those. |
Is RE spam + Pathfinder that OP? |
THIS
1 000 000 times THIS
Rarely do I have a game where Axis spam Volks, unlike USF, where every match is just bazookas or BAR's
It's not like there's anything else you can do as USF, Bars/Zooks blob is much more manageable than the old Rifleman LMG blob with lol "Defensive" stance. |
Your wish is my command: Sadly the sherman is inferior in many aspects to the pre-buffed Brummbar. Ask yourself how many times you see them. I see Brumbars from time to time, sometimes even more than one. The last time I saw a 105mm was as I played it myself about 6 month ago.
Here are the stats, Sherman always first, then Brummbar:
Armor front: 200 / 260
Armor rear: 80 / 105
Healthpoints: 720 / 800
Speed max: 5.3 / 5.7
Damage: 160 / 160
AOE far: 3.38 / 3.75
AOE near: 1.13 / 1.25
Penetration: 35 / 120
Deflection: no / yes 50% damage
turret: yes / no
Scatterdistance: 4.8 / 2.5
Reload: 7.13 / 8.38
Manpower cost: 380 / 470
fuel cost: 140 / 160
Population 14 / 14
All stats not listed are pretty much the same. As you can see Sherman has three advantages: has turret / shoots about a second faster / cost less ressources
So while Reload, AOE and ressource cost of Brummbar will get buffed we hear nothing about 105mm which is pretty much inferior to the pre-buffed Brummbar combat wise. Less durable and especially its scatterdistance is awful. Sherman is more a specialist than the Brummbar because its purely AI (Brummbar can do something at least and has additional stun shot as a vehicle snare) but it performs worse when it comes to AI. Thats just silly if you take into account that it is locked behind a single commander in this game.
I personally think buffing Brummbar is the right thing, but please do not forget poor Sherman 105mm. At the moment I would always take the more versatile normal Sherman with its decent HE shells.
...and please put M10 + 105mm in Major Tech. Can't understand why they are still Call-ins.
Brummbar is faster than Bulldozer, wtf is this? Oh and don't forget never fire when on the move, both these vehicles have shit accuracy, Bulldozer has trouble hitting OKW truck on moving from around 30 range. |
If only Relic would add some more immersive dialogue in a future patch. Too bad Relic probably doesn't care...
Yeah all the news DLC unit just use generic speech, like Pershing/Callie, Land Mattress and such, 2 DLC commander costs nearly as much as the whole UK DLC, can't they make some decent VA? |
