Though it's kinda funny that in battle reports somewhere is stated "ATGs had no problem hitting a 1x1m spot in 800m distance". Yeah, I see that.
Could it be, that somehow (unintended) cover modifier works for tanks, too? Sometimes it feels like Pak misses several shots on T70 standing still in bomb craters.
When I have tanks, I always watch them carefully. And Panzer IV gets engine damaged by AT-nade like 99% of the time. Don't tell me I just don't see it failing. I am not complaining about that, but please don't tell "oh it's pure luck if it cripples your P4's engine". And even Panthers get crippled by T34 ram or AT nades so goddamn often.
I don't know much about the mechanics of the game, but AT-nade always hitting the rear sounds pretty legit to me.
I think that nerf was too much. No Problem now to run straight into MG42 and throw nades (without Bulletin). Enemy Maxim pinned faster. Well, I will have to play some matches more to confirm.
When playing german I found it not weak before patch. If you didn't gtfo, your troops died. Just like other Offmap attacks. Now it's massively stronger?
@OZtheWiZARD
I know. But Panzerfaust now only works from the side/rear of SU85 mostly, making it harder then before. You know it's in nature of SU85 to face the enemy frontal, and due to it's fast backwardsspeed it's not trivial to get a faust work.
Supporting tanks with infantry, sure thing, but that will never stop conscripts from AT nading (that will always engine damage P4).
