Thread: Difference in Factional Doctrines16 Jul 2013, 13:34 PM On both factions doctrines are bland with copy & pasted skills that no one is using most of the time you have only one doctrinal skill that is ok and you choose that doctrine because of it. In coh it was big difference how you played in coh 2 you can play without doctrines because most of the time they are bleeh. In: COH2 Gameplay

I use combined arms all the time and bring my pgrnsz with shrecks, grens, at, and tanks. Just as an example a couple games ago I managed a tiger and a p4 wth some inf squads an mg and a pak in an attack against entrenched sovs. He had 3 su85s and infantryy.. I attacked with some units flanking and p4 flanking also with tiger coming head on. Well... lets say my tiger barely got a chance to do dmg before it exploded in fiery glory. He lost 2 su85s while my entire attacking force was decimated. Luckily the loss of 2 su85s was more than he could bear and he quit (thank god). Point being that even well coordinated attacks on su85s is still damn difficult. You better believe you will come out of that battle bruised and barely able to function. What you are talking about ? infantry >> SU85, Panther >>> SU85, Flanking Panzer >>> SU85. Pak >>> SU You dont fight Su85 head to head, most reich players just going for tank fire exchange. And dont you think that same attack vs 3 panzer will be difficult too ? its like you rech players want easy wins everytime... Relic nerfed M3, Maxim, mortars, only one good unit thats left is f... SU85. I gived up alread... good luck with finding games in few weeks. In: COH2 Balance

Keep it up Relic! Especially to reich cries on forum. They nerfed russian infantry, leave OP strafing run and only counter for reich tanks is SU85, because ZiS is now with useless maxims and lol mortars. Only valid doctrine in 1vs1 is HTD because you just need to spam consript untill T4 then you spam SU85 Really funny game... In: COH2 Balance

To be honest I haven't felt to big of an impact and I think thats a good thing. Small changes are the right way to go until the next balance patch. LOL small impact ? they nerfed most of soviet units that were used in early game. you are joking or trolling In: COH2 Balance

Thread: T-34/76 feels plain pathetic 11 Jul 2013, 05:57 AM Why does Soviets need another anty-infantry tank from same pool ? there is T70 already and halftrack, with t34 you are buying it for stupid ram abbility not for countering infantry when there will be tanks in few mins on field Its should be opposite P iv - better vs infantry - t34 cheap but balanced cost/effectivnes vs tanks. Give the patch a chance and play around with it. Give the devs some time to address the balance, it is not as simple as 1 2 3... ffs. My first rts was Dune 2 so im like your granfather i think ;P Sorry but when i see unit nerfs and in same time buffs to it counters (maxim - mortars) Nerf to stationery killers (mortars) where germans have bunkers, MG and there are problems with houses. Im little sceptic about balance changes. I will wait for real patch opponions but there is very big chance that this patch was overdone... BTW i never used maxim spam and used M3 + sniper only once. I think i will wait for next balance patch with russian buffs and german nerfs. Where is strafing run nerf and opel truck ? where is t34 buff ? Crying players on forum vs Russians 1:0. Concentrate on one fuel and half of map, defend it until SdKfz 221 (dont lose it to one ZiS in first min) then panzer iv and gg. How i know this ? because i lost to this tactics. In: COH2 Balance
