You are forced to pick and choose how to best spend your munitions, and while the variety of options can be nice you are never fully using your abilities as much as commanders with call ins or passive abilities. I feel The NKVD rifle counterpart is the Jaeger Infantry doctrine which is pretty much the German equivalent for a munitions dump doctrine. I think people get that doctrine mostly for the G43s. A howitzer/recon plane would be awesome. Talk about disruption. i think the more equivalent would be the new TOW commander that is going to be added. it only has the officer call in. a cheap munition skill. (global run) and 3 munidump skills. relief infantry. light artillery. and fragmentation bombs. i think these commanders should both have the resources truck. (relic would have to make a Russian equivalent). it would balance more the fact that they have no units. and they have to defend those weak trucks with the standard units. In: Lobby
Thread: Hull Down Effects?21 Sep 2013, 16:29 PM well in my ignorance i assume if the calculation is a simple multiplication then it is a big damage reduction. and no wonder i had the commander tank on hull down too. it also helped. i would recomend this to be used with the smoke commanders. so if your tank is getting out ranged. you pop smoke and retreat. and get a pak to avoid su sniping your tanks. Thread: Countering elephant21 Sep 2013, 15:07 PM build lots of conscripts and make them kneel and pray. now seriously. build more infantry. drop on the tanks and save your fuel. get at guns. and arty. those are things the elephant cant destroy easily. when you get rid of it with infantry and at guns, arty etc. used the saved fuel to get tanks. also with doctrinal IS2 + smoke you can go for a frontal assault. Thread: spread out for infantry20 Sep 2013, 17:58 PM i would preffer a comand for roadwalk. since road provide a speed bonus. they would trade defence for speed. and give importance to placing mines on roads. it would also help your units to come back from the back faster. In: COH2 Gameplay

I don't see the point of releasing "new" commanders that are simply re-arrangements of the old ones. german infantry doctrine == russian NKVD officer. In: COH2 Gameplay

He spacifically states that they were available in TOW but will now be in multiplayer. at least the germans now have a comander as bad as the nkvd one. In: COH2 Gameplay
