Thread: Any success with Ass Engies?4 Jul 2014, 15:10 PM Hey everyone, Just curious if anyone has been successful playing with the armor commander with the assault engies. They die pretty fast and after the early game is over, I'd rather have them as rifle squads. Any tips? In: US Forces Strategies

It doesn't seem to fill any good roles against soviets except for pestering t34s and half tracks, but then again you can get a p4 out by 6 CP's it's still more effective. Thread: New Air Superiority Doctrine20 Feb 2014, 06:13 AM This commander is sadly not really worth all the hype. It's only one strafe and the cooldown is super long so you end up floating on lots of munis just because you're waiting for the cooldown for all of your airplanes to finish. Not to mention on snow maps you get a disadvantage cuz you can't use planes during blizzards. The infantry strafe is not bad. It pins the infantry, but the anti-tank strafe hardly does anything except for light tanks. Medium tanks don't even flinch, unlike the soviet strafe which kills both tanks and inf. Thread: German Rifle/Bundle Grenades=Muni Waste13 Feb 2014, 02:21 AM Ok so shocktroop/guard grenade= 25 munis = on average 2 gren/pgren/mgcrew kills= 1/2 remaining squad=fine. Conscript molotov hit= 25 munis= on average 1 gren/pgren/mgcrew kills=3/4 remaining squad=alright.. 1 rifle grenade at a stationary maxim/ATG= 25 munis= on average 1 to 0 kills=5/6-6/6 members left = what? 1 bundle grenade at a stationary maxim/ATG= 50 munis= on average now kills 2= 4/6 members left= bigger what? Anyone know what I'm talking about when you see a bunch of bunched up Sovs, get the bundle grenade off with the satisfying boom, only to be saddened that you just spent 50 munis on no squad wipes.. in fact not even close even with a tactical advantage. Not to mention early rifle nades which are worse. Needs to be fixed. In: COH2 Balance

Ever since the 10x XP weekend the upper tiers are filled with noobs that makes team play and single play frustrating and boring. Please change this back to CoH1. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: What Counters Ostwind30 Jan 2014, 15:37 PM With the current meta game though (pretty even split at the mid game), you can definitely get a t34 (a lot cheaper than ostwind) before ost gets an ostwind, so I don't see the issue. You don't really need a T-70 atm since early elite infantry gives you early advantage to at the least hold a fuel point and regularly contest the ost fuel. Just hold out for a few minutes for t-34s which can last the whole midgame. In: Red Army Strategies

Thread: T34 splash dmg18 Jan 2014, 17:40 PM T34 delivers way too much splash dmg.. sometimes it literally just wipes out 3/4 men on my squads... what kind of tank does OH have that takes out 75% of a squad? In: COH2 Balance
