Instead of showing a number which confuses people who don't understand the system, perhaps we could use a low/medium/high value for players searching. Would that be a better alternative?
I suppose we could try to remove faceplates on the loading screen as well, a lot of people were dropping simply on seeing higher ranks. |
Great feedback everyone, I'll talk to our producer today and get some discussion going. I just want to say that we want nothing more than to see COH2 be the best RTS on the market. I know there are a lot of people who really care for this game and are pushing to make it better day by day. No, that is a typo. Nothing was changed on the ZIS barrage ability. We pulled it out after testing showed it wasn't a good change. |

On topic; do you feel moving vehicles should also receive a scatter penalty? This would penalize them more equally against infantry and vehicles. Adding a scatter penalty ontop of the accuracy penalty would bring the relationship closer to vCOH levels for reference. |
Well, currently there are no direct connections. Everyone connects to steam, steam sorts the packets and relays the information from there. For that reason, if one person lags everyone suffers.
I suppose that's the nice thing about dedicated servers, only the person lagging will feel it. |
Some maps do not have blizzards but still feature other winter elements like ice. That said, maps that currently feature blizzard will retain them. |

We are currently looking into the functionality of buildings. It's a fairly complex system unfortunately so a quality solution does take time. |
