i would agree if the KV1 didnt come at 8 cps, with no tech requirements meaning you cant still be at tier 3 and get this baby out so i think its fine how it is, the KV2 is another story tho. |
i havent found a way to counter to it, i pretty much get crushed most times when facing it, defo dont play maps with important cut off's you'll get over run easily. |
The best counter is taking control of the vital building and the area around it before the enemy does. The counters listed are assuming you let them have an important house in the first place. Which vs ostheer, you shouldnt. at least not initially... Which is the only time where i see a problem..
If they get in some sort of house after the fact then the sniper or MAYBE a wasp, is quite a fine counter. Which has already been said. And you should be able to reach T2 fast if you don't let them get a foothold on an important point. Which you do by taking a building or two early on.
And judging by the games I've played against you, yeah you're welcome.
but that isnt a counter, u rush that building first with a tommy u have zero of the map capped, because your second unit is an mg to hold that building.
axis will have more units early especially if they went ostruppen so it isnt much of a loss to camp a building early.

as much as i love vcoh, theres alot of things that make me like coh 2 much more, even tho the tech paths arent as good you still have more medium tanks available much faster in this game compared to old coh tiers feel better spaced and you get some really good comabt in though out the game as opposed to spending half the game in 1 tier.
also misses a ton of crappy features of old coh like medic bunkers, pointless manpower points etc. |
Brits feel very weak to me early game, especially against aggressive ostheer strategies like 3 ostruppen. What would you do to give them a little boost? Here are some of my thoughts:
5 man squad upgrade: also reduces reinforce cost to 28.
Universal Carrier: move repair ability to vet 0, make it also repair engine damage, maybe increase muni cost.
AEC: increase armor. Make the immobilization ability way more responsive.
the also need a moveable mortar or some effective arty, breaking an ost position of paks and mg's at the moment is impossible unless you use the op croc |
UC being crappy is its own issue. The fact that the UC become obsolete the moment the british can actually repair it is a problem.
but even the UC being better still wouldnt make the AEC good, its good on paper but vs what your facing as brits at the time its never gonna be useful |
the last thing the ost need is another anti-infantry vehicle to deal with. It's just going to replace the centaur rush with a AEC rush. Furthermore, the British already have the universal carrier for dealing with infantry.
Just give the AC 10 extra range so it can deal with tanks. Yes, it's going to be a Puma clone, but that's less disruptive to balance.
UC is trash past T1 and even then it isnt very good, they should give the AEC an 70 muni vickers on top or something AI related, make brits pay for it but make it atleast viable. |

your changes wouldnt help brits piss poor early game, they have no effective arty, nothing to counter mg's in buildings the UC is trash and they have nothing to CC vehicles, their piats are god awful.
at the moment brits are being carried on the back of the centaur, croc and commandos.
fix the faction then nerf them. |
