I don't remember who posted this, but in the early days of coh2's life, someone took a video of QDuffy saying that he's not going to make two different games.
The answer is that this will prove to intensive for Relic and it will not be done. 1v1 is already very close to being balanced and should be the main priority. So let them finish that then focus on team games, it gives them one less item to balance and not have to worry about. All one would have to do is flip back to the last patch for team games and keep current patch for 1v1's. Would be a great starting point in my opinion |

From what I was told, relic's general direction for balance is 1v1's first and team games second. SO instead of trying to balance all game modes at once, why not split it up into two groups. MY suggestion is you create 2 groups one group is for 1v1 games and a second set for team games. Then you can balance 1v1's and work on team games without screwing everything over.Now you could also do 1v1's and 2v2's and split 3v3's and 4v4's into groups. Either way, there are a large number of units one army can field in this game and certain units have to perform on different levels in team games vs 1v1's. For example, take the british, when its abilities are used in a 4v4 they can become incredibly effective (UKF tac support *cough*). |
I dont get this memory leak thing. Played friday 10 or more matches in a row. No problems.
I got an Intel i5 and Intel HD Graphics 4000. All settings on lowest, replays disabled but resolution quite high. Sorry, cant check atm because I have no access to my laptop atm.
Maybe try disable replays and see if this helps with your memory leak problem. I noticed it gives a huge fps boost to. I think the replay system is causing a lot of problems.
Now from what I've been told, and feel free to correct me if I"m wrong, but it basically is that your memory usage increases each game you play until your pc has no ram left for use and which you get that memory error or a bugsplat. Now i"m going to assume you play 1v1's mostly because of your signature, and 1v1's take up way less memory than 4v4's or 3v3's do. |
This just started after the patch, and it only happens when initially starting the game. To fix this temporarily, simply flip the teammates playercard and their name comes up. Here's the Bug And how to fix in game |

The game suffers from memory leak, you have to restart every 2-3 games to fix the problem. Also what are you specs processor gpu etc... |
It's an ability that is a click and forget, that has no counter play. Destroying engines of full health tanks. exactly and it just needs fixed so its not 100% accurate imo its an area denial tool that is too strong |

That ability is the only reason why I pick this commander... they should set an higher delay on the first shells to give the enemy some more time to react and leave the zone... if you stay in that zone it is pretty much your own fault and more a l2p issue... so an ability that needs no sight for use can insta snipe tanks and you claim l2p issue? It's a little more than that I feel cheap whenever I use it since most people don't have time to react. The ability is too strong imo. Back to the point, the ability is bugged it may be op, but it is bugged. |
