So I guess I already have all of it? I got all the commanders, at least... don't care much about the other stuff. In: Lobby
Thread: Random faction19 Sep 2013, 13:03 PM The thing about random faction is also that you may have two completely different rankings as Soviet and Ostheer. So it could simultaneously look for e.g. ~1000 Elo Ostheer and ~800 Elo Soviet and different amounts of people may be online in both elo areas. This is also why the amount of people looking for a game can suddenly be very different when switching sides manually. This means GuruSkippy's example wouldn't be accurate but he is right: It'd be faster and easier for everyone. In: COH2 Gameplay
Thread: NKVD Disruption Tactics18 Sep 2013, 19:31 PM I don't think they'll change it but why not... many commanders are very one-sided, on both sides Rebalancing them would be good. There could still be munitions or fuel heavy commanders, just not as heavy as they are now. Maybe they'll introduce new commander abilities when they push out new (DLC) commanders. An officer unit would definitely be interesting. It could be a Maxim squad with one guy switched for a commisar standing in the back. They could even push his abilities down that cliché "no retreat!" route but that might also cause another outcry from some Russian players. In: Lobby

Why would you shoot an armor piercing high velocity round at infantry anyways? Other than that it is fine I think. Hilarious to kill Su-85s through terrain. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Panthers17 Sep 2013, 19:01 PM I don't think there is much wrong with it other than its manpower cost. But the Brummbär has the exact same problem, no idea why German T4 requires so much of it. Maybe they'll change it when they further balance lategame? In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Heroes & Generals Thread17 Sep 2013, 11:41 AM Just saw it in the shoutbox and read a bit about it. It really looks great and I'll try it once my exams are over but I have a few questions. 1. Is it easy to get into? Many WW2 games are pretty hard/unforgiving to newbies. 2. How strong is the hardcore/simulation aspect of this game? I like Battlefield but don't like Red Orchestra (too hard to learn, too easy to die) for example. 3. It is free to play but is it also pay to win? I don't mind paying 20 € or so for a few months of increased credit gain but I despise games where people can just pay a heap of money and then steamroll everyone in their overpowered tank. Money for easier leveling etc. is ok but money for OP weapons is bad. In: Other Games

Most normal units have a sight range of 35 and Molotovs have a range of 15 and Panzerfaust a range of 20. Those are probably the most common ones you see, maybe you can look at it and get a feeling for the 10. Satchel Charges (from Penal Battalions) also have 10 range. In: COH2 Balance

From the few games I have played since the patch on both sides I'd say the MG42 feels alittle too weak now. Of course returning it to its old state isn't an option but I really would have prefered if Relic had done the survivability changes first with a simple nerf of suppression and the bulletin to reasonable levels instead of the hattrick performed by nerfing survivability, suppression and target switching all in one go.
