They scale pretty horribly and are VERY weak in combat. On larger maps theyll spend more time retreating than fighting unless you have a halftrack to reinforce from. In: Lobby

Thats answer on question why infantry sections are so stronk. Im top 50 for 2v2 brits and 8th for 4v4 brits and use commandos all the time for their Jesus bomb. Wipes 4 man squads consistently. Their camo + gammon bomb squad wiper makes them beasts. Other than that they are only good for flanking enemies since they drop models really fast. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Remove Bofors "attack ground"15 May 2016, 17:34 PM I'm not talking about the suppressive barrage. Thats another topic. I'm talking about its ability to attack ground and therefore hit units that are concealed in smoke. One of my favorite tactics to destroying sim city early game is with the Ostheer Flamer halftrack combined with the Ostheer mortar smoke barrage ability. Use the smoke to blind the bofors, then attack ground where the bofors is with your flamer projectors. This is one of the most effective early game counters ostheer has vs emplacements and it is easily countered by using attack ground with the bofors. Remove attack ground and you add another viable way of taking down emplacements. If the enemy uses two specific units to counter bofors, brits should need another unit to defend the bofors from these units (aka, bring and ATG). Thoughts? Is it necessary to keep attack ground on the bofors? Edit: dangit, i wanted to add a poll and accidently clicked create :/ In: COH2 Balance
