It's hard to understand exactly what your asking here.
Tiger's aren't actually the best unit to use against an SU-85. They're main attribute in this kind of fight is that they can take a lot of damage. So you probably want your Tiger up front "tanking" the damage while other units support, be they paks, shrecks or other tanks. |
I come for the CoH 2 ... but I stay for the 80s beats. |
Hmmm strafe seems pretty fine to me since they nerfed it. Sounds like he had a ton of munitions if he's using it "every 2 minutes".
Plane only passes like every 2 minutes now after the nerf and doesn't pin all over the map like it used to, and rarely kills many, if any, troops in my experience.
All in all, no, I haven't have experiences like that recently.

the coh2 as a game is not boring you ass hole.
You seriously want to have a discuss and you respond to people who post like this?
|
Once you upgrade Guards with DPS machine guns they are holding 4 weapons (2 at-rifles, 2 dps-mgs) which means once you lose 2 men they have a chance of dropping weapons (no one is left holding a rifle once 2 men die). This means they drop more weapons relative to many other squads. |
I noticed it as well. I would like it to be tweeked to fully repair 1 panzerfaust hit. |
Thread: COH HD?29 Aug 2013, 12:16 PM
Like Paperplane said, a coh hd version would kill the remains of coh2.
They want to sell some dlcs, maybe addons and finally coh2 for 20 bucks, then 10, then 5 and inbetween some humblebundles. Milking
If we all had known how coh2 works out, everybody would've preferred a addon with some fixes(maybe really bad grammar here)
Without aftermarket parts, you can still activate ambient occlusion, lod bias and supersampling. But my mod is so easily installed and works online. same to sweetfx.
If you don't like it, blame the engine developers with their engine limitation to 512x512 ground textures.
Fun fact: 7 years later, coh2 has the same
... I like CoH2. |
I don't know what game you played but in CoH 1 the late game was based around tanks as well. All the units that fought in the late game in CoH appear in late game CoH 2: Tanks, vetted infantry, support weapons and artillery.
AT guns are effective against enemy armour but they aren't effective in isolation. That means you need more than just an AT gun to kill a tank.
If your looking for manpower only ways to defeat armour they are there, but they are hard, sometimes very hard, to use. The reason is if you get expensive fuel units they should be hard to counter with manpower only units, otherwise everyone would just get manpower only. Like when the shreck was too powerful in vCoH in patch whatever and people only ever got infantry. |
The IS-2 absolutely wrecks infantry and has a huge amount of health, but it won't kill tanks very well. If you have armour problems get 2 SU-85's.
A lot of people won't believe me but I've found the IS-2 effective in both 1v1 and 2v2 in various circumstance. That said it probably does need a buff/fuel cost decrease. |
Awesome stuff man! |
