Question: Samsung's "Magician" SSD Optimization software suggests running the BIOS in AHCI mode instead of IDE mode. But when I try to do that, windows goes BSOD (BLUE SCREEN OF DEATH) on me after "Starting Windows...". I tried pulling all of the other drives out and just running the Samsung on AHCI and same result. IDE works fine. Is this a mobo problem? Any ideas, Bud or others? Yep, BSOD happens when you installed Windows in IDE mode and you tried to launch it in AHCI mode. You can use this script to do that : Code #NoEnv SendMode Input #IfWinActive, Company Of Heroes 2 { w::up s::down a::left d::right <+w::w <+s::s <+a::a <+d::d capslock::suspend } In the script, "<" means Right and "+" means Shift key so together "<+" means Right Shift key.
