You don't have to conquer everyone, the goal is to accomplish your goals and get a peace treaty. Germany didn't have to successfully invade the UK, they just needed Britain to leave the war. With UK out of the war, the US probably doesn't join, and Germany concentrates all its resources on the Soviets and probably wins. My GTX1080 gets ~120fps on most AAA games and around 90fps on the highest demanding of games (like GR Wildlands) @1080p, but in COH2 I've seen it drop to 45fps late game in 2v2. If you downscale res you should be fine, 4k might work if you're willing to run something like medium graphics settings. Even though top down RTS games should be playable at lower fps than first person games, the problem is panning the camera gets really messy in COH2 once it gets to the 40-50fps range. Back in the day I played COH1 on a laptop with 25-30fps, but the camera movement felt more responsive even at lower framerates. In: Hardware and Tech

Snipers could've used a little tweaking no doubt but every single COH2 patch I have played has had something equally or more problematic. I would definitely expect a higher framerate on my current hardware than what I get, but acting like it actually hinders gameplay is just wrong. I have a very high end system and the game runs a good 100+ fps when the match starts and progressively gets worse as game goes on for whatever reason. Panning the camera around in this game is a sluggish, stuttery mess like in Hearts of Iron year 1945 on 4-5x speed....a complete joke for a "competitive" rts. In: Lobby
