Thread: DoW 3 open beta24 Apr 2017, 00:24 AM Huge 40k fan and I wanted to like DoW3 so much. Early looks had me pretty concerned but I wanted to try it for myself. After playing the beta, I like it even less than I thought I would. I can't find enough redeeming factors to want to play it. Superficial things like animations really do make a difference to me personally and are a huge turn off with jumping terminators, etc. And then there's the other strictly gameplay reasons that others have laid out. I'm even not inherently bothered by the divergence from DoW2 so much, as I still love and play DoW1, but this is just not doing it for me. I'll keep my eyes on it and see how it develops over time, but I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything for now. In: Other Games
