Unanswered fan question;
A second Relic studio or moving the current studio?

Just by looking at google images, construction started between may 2015-2016

Such a large building. Considering their pr department is pretty lackluster, I think their internal communications will suffer in such a large environment.

I don't see the point in make a new building for a soon to be bankrupt company but alright, it's SEGA's, er, I mean our money that we gave to SEGA over DLC bullshit and half assed games but you know, whatever.

Exactly, that is what i was thinking when i read your post. Whatever..

That soon to be bankrupt company is going to make a whole lot of money soon because they are developing one of the most awaited games of our times. You can't deny it, everyone has some connections to the AoE franchise, a lot of people will sell their soul to play it. Even if it sucks, it will relatively surely outsell CoH2 about 5-10 times.

I know you all have bitter thoughts against Relic which I also can understand and share. But the company is not going to bankrupt anytime soon. The halt in CoH development was not because they were forced to, but more likely because CoH just didn't make a lot of money anymore which is logical as the game is 4 years old and is currently reduced to the hardcore playerbase of about 3.000 - 6.000 people.

lol so many arm chair critics.

Congrats Relic, you go guys! You deserve it after the stuff with THQ.

You guys should be pleased SEGA wants to commit support to them, the people who spend their lives working hard to make games we want to play. Or would you rather they downsized them, restricted their budget and managed some kind of decline?

Invissed three posts. Your feelings toward Relic may be justified one way or another, but this is not a thread to hate on them/each other.

I hope that with the new space we see better products and a new internal structure to the company. I think Relic has a lot of talent but is just mismanaged or lacks the ability to think on its feet. The bigger the team hopefully they don't lose that small company feel of interacting with the community (please relic if u read this talk to us more).

Congrats guys you really do deserve the space in all seriousness.

This is awesome makes me more and more excited for "the future of CoH".

Hopefully AoE4 is a success and they can then concentrate on their own IP with the view to correcting their mistakes in CoH2 and DoW3 and return to former glory!

Interesting after the disaster of DoW3. Must assume this is just for AoE4.

One shit sandwich of a game is not going to end a studio and as disappointing as COH2 was I bet it was a huge success financially with that penny snatching business model they had.
