Thread: What maps do you miss from CoH17 Apr 2015, 16:10 PM Some of the SNF4 maps (eg Argentan Crossroads) could be good additions; Crossing in the Woods is already there. Sturzdorf could be OK or a less chokepoint-y edition of Wrecked Train. I only ever played 1v1 in COH1, so I don't actually have any experience of the team maps I'm glad that the map team at Relic has been willing to tinker with some of the old COH1 maps. I like the small gap in the hedge by the VP on Langres, for example. Curious to see more of Angoville, but I noticed some changes in the single game I've played on it. In: COH2 Gameplay

Paratrooper Thompsons are good, but only on certain maps (eg Semoskiy) or if you are good at setting up flanks (ie your tactics are more sophisticated than A-moving everywhere). Paratroopers aren't great CQC units, and their "Tactical Assault" ability make them worse, not better. One very good use of Tactical Assault is to kill retreating squads. If your paratroopers are on the retreat path, pop Tactical Assault and focus the squad. Like the Thompsons generally, it is an ability that is useful only in certain situations, but is far from useless. In: Lobby
