This again? KT isn't necessary, TA is fine where it is. OKW and OST have other issues to sharpen besides their heavy tank selection. And besides, it's NOT what was voted.

Honestly, what's the issue here besides veterancy being too hard to grow to unlock the unique auras?
Too early on the field? Increase CPs.
Too little impact? Change the veterancy.
There's nothing to do much beyond that. The rest is just toy wishlisting.

Dangit, I was just getting used to Radio Intercept. Bring it back, & move this forward supply to tech or another commander. It doesn't feel/fit the fire brigade theme, despite being very awesome.
Again, too much in this commander, and it becomes an autopick. I feel like Breakthrough Equipment alone is an awesome perk, and then you still have Ace, P4J, and useful call-in troops. Whew! |

What do you think about giving Wehrmacht the I.R. Halftrack as a replacement?
Would rather a benefit that doesn't take pop-cap. Especially since the OKW PZIVs take up an extra two space, and there's a tiger call-in. |
Had a bug where the OKW Tiger call-in would not trigger the Vet 5 Elite Command Tiger ability when toggled in the UI. Part of this same bug was that level 4 was entirely skipped, two promotions straight up from vet 3.

Is the Elite Command Tiger ability bugged? Had it happen that it seemed to jump over vet 4 straight into 5, and the new ability that appears (greys out the level 4) wouldn't activate. You could toggle it, see the 25 muni subtracted, but immediately was refunded and the ability not triggered. |
Because it's simply a better version. I don't think you play it any different than the standard Ost version on the field, but it goes further in terms of your clicks. It's a simple ease of life addition. |

Then that seems like a dangerous fix. We want to avoid a Spec Ops scenario with any of these new commanders.
I view commander abilities as either increases in micro- or decreases in micro. In this case, I would breakdown this new commander as: Assgren (+ Micro), Radio (- Micro), PZIV (- Micro), Breakthrough Equipment (+ Micro), Ace (+ Micro).
If the PVIV J replacement in this commander is a bandaid fix for medium tank play, then that affects the whole faction. I'm not surprised by your initial panzer design suggestion, but I am surprised the devs chose to stick with this aspect of it.
I can't say where to go from here thematically, or for the health of the faction, but if the PZIV J were to be replaced, I would say replace it with something that adds micro (adds to the difficulty) of this commander. Currently the whole thing is very sexy, and I'll bet people will make it a staple- devs should throw a spanner into the works at this early stage so it's not too comfortable a pick. Radio is the key ease-of-life improvement to this pick IMO.
