So damage wise 2 schrecks would be 3 zooks (completely ingoring the fact that zooks have a higher chance to deflect further reducing the damage). You also seem to confuse quite a lot of other things. Should you be referring to the captain, which comes with 2 zooks, the unit does not have a grenade nor at snare. Zooks on any other unit are not free In: COH2 Balance

Ive read several times that allies is stronger than axis in general. This information backs that statement up(at least for the top players). OKW seems to have benefited strongly from the supposed vet fix, but dropped afterwards (last graph) anyone has theories why? The statement that allies are stronger than axis is first of all unqualified, since it doesn't distinguish between allied factions. Second of all, it's plainly just wrong. The sample that we have for USF and UKF after the recent patch points to quite the contrary and the small sample size in itself is quite the hint of that: the best players, know the strongest faction and will choose it to win. Even over the entire series of ESL tournaments UKF has a negative win-loss-ratio, clearly contradicting the statement that "allies are in general stronger than axis". Siphon correctly states that USF and UKF numbers are not too reliable due to the small sample. Which may as well mean that USF might have been in the same group. In fact what we saw is that only the most proficient USF players, like DevM, picked it and even he dropped it for the EU final. As noted above, the small sample size might in itself be a indicator of how the two factions perform compared to Soviets. We should learn to make qualified statements that identify single issues and not generalise statements about balance to "Axis are stronger than Allies" or "Allies are stronger than Axis". According to your table it's got the highest hp but the lowest damage output and penetration. Damage per shot doesn't equal damage per second. I also assume that he only listed the mg damage, however the main gun also shoots at infantry and does damage. In: COH2 Balance

Thread: rifle grenade4 Apr 2016, 12:17 PM There are some problems with the rifle nade but they're mainly of a animation and feedback nature. Since the animation just doesn't play or bugs out often, which makes it impossible to see and the voice lines that warn about the nade arrive about just as the rifle nades hits. In: COH2 Gameplay

I think InsaneHoshi makes a couple of very valid observations. Having 2 of your allies operating in a part of the map where there is almost nothing happening while you try to fight off 4 guys will never quite work. The initial build order is also highly problematic. You would have been far better off with a more standard build of mg - gren - gren - mg/mortar/gren (as required). In: Replay Reviews
