i don't see why you guys don't want the game to go F2P. it'l be a massive leap in player numbers! people who saw bad reviews of the games because of the russians spamming the metacritic who are on the fence might give the game a go
molotovs are 10,000 better than grenades. for the sole purpose that they deny the building even if the troops get microed out.
grenades might get a 1/100 chance crit and kill the building, but the players i play against just exit the building and shift-queue re-enter. wasted 25/45 munis
what about giving each faction a coh1 style mine, built by their respective engineer? that would make the game 100 times more enjoyable for a lot of people
and what about replacing the US rifleman mine that they get with infantry operations doctrine with the COH1-esque mine, give it to airborne, assault engineers too!
the problem with it is that if you're using it with a major as a forward operating base, the fast-paced nature of some games means you quickly need to select units and get them to the front lines. which causes you to "box-drag" your retreated units around the major, and forget not to include the ambulence, and send it off into battle!
instead of having that redicious 'activate to give radius heal' just press a button which locks down the medi truck, similar to the major lock down effect. where it CANNOT be selected in a group of units. when the medic truck is locked down. the 3 medics will get out, but the truck will not be abandoned...
i personally complain about balanace here, and not on the 'offical' forums because the offical forums had an age-gate that i would have to enter my DOB every time i opened the website. hahhaaha
