what do you guys do to counter the sowjet sniper?
especially when the snipers are paired up with some sort of at, i have problems (and my enemies, when i play sowjets) to counter this. german sniper is very risky and doesnt pay off in most of the cases, scoutcar is either killed by one mine, or by su85/pak supporting the snipers.
the moment my sniperteam has vet 1 (sprint ability, i mean, cmon relic, you know better!) and i have some sort of at out, i have won the game.
and yes, this is 1v1. |
whatever you get, get sennheiser! i have tested many headsets, inears, headphones, etc, and sennheisers are usually the best in their price-category. i have my inears for 4 years now, thich is an eternity for inears. so i would probably get the ones ipkai suggested.
i would abstain from buying anything with "gaming" on it. most of the times its hust as good as the others, but will cost you 20 bucks more. |

its a game. so it doesnt have to be realistic.
its a story that portrays a little tiny bit of a pice of WW2. dont expect it to show the whole huge picture.
actually, i can understand, that you are upset that germans arent shown to be evil in this game, but from my perspective, it is still clear ( im from germany, a day without hearing "the nazis were so bad" is a nonexisting day). and some sowjets, especially the generals were monsters, i mean order 227 existed! if you look at the actual numers of fallen soldiers, its like 20 million sowjets to 3 million german soldiers. |
Some hard bulletings to get are some of the tank ones.

i think the hardest one to get is actually the damageincrease for you grenadiers, because you have to kill 5 IS2s or ISU152s with grenadeirs, so panzerfausts. i got that one in a custom agem with a friend only to achieve this bulletin.

gives you huge early game advantage, a freidn of mine and me tested those bulletins a little bit and its overwhelming! you rgenadiers/scripts will stand there and fight and fight and fight forever! |
i actually think, that either the bulletin is broken and gives you more than 10% or the impression of its hugh impact is wrong. mg42s have a very high rof, so the 10% increase should only give you an actual 10% increase! will test it myself. |
yes, a new stats site is definetely needed! you could also have a section with all the gamemechanic-formulas and interns, might help some people atleast! |
but you are right with small arms fire and cover being insignificant. lets hope, that the devs will change that |
Ideally some way to increase small arms fire thst does not negate, but rather promotes cover, is best.
if you want to better wepaon damage AND cover, you cant just change one value! you would have to change damage and the covertables, because a damageincrease of for example 5% means 5% more damage against heavy cover aswell! |
