SC2!(not 1) is not a top game. Its like pop music compared to rock/metal music.
Only because 100.000.00.... most asian play this game doesnt make it good.
80% listen to pop. But rock/metal is still better. Higher class music.
CoH(2) is more conmplex, dynamic, better looking and more fun to play.

these are all opinions not facts... especially your analogy to rock music and pop. sure I like rock better but i acknowledge these are opinions... sure the user score is somewhat factually but its based on opinions and is not entirely accurate to begin with. yet you present these as if there facts...

so far I see plans to support a casters dream (as well as a spectators) everything from shout casts to to well everything. What I don't see are any plans to support the modding community. (people like whiteflash and uncle sam and all those great mods out there for coh.) my point is I'd love to see a place on the site dedicated to this subject like for instance a a setup so you can post your map for everyone to see in an easier manner than making a forum post (which can be made to look nice.) but have a nasty habit of falling to the bottom the forums abyss where no one can find them. (as my mod list has done )

my idea would be to make a mod (assuming coh has mod tools.) data base. a spot for total conversion mods, maps, skins and sound-packs can reside for coh2 in 1 easy location that everyone can find them. the idea is to have a template and a database to search around at all submitted mods/maps. kinda like moddb but shorter sweeter and more to the point.

would start with a place to put a header, a description area, a place to put one or two photos or youtube videos and place to put a download link or multiple download links. something simple like that designed to look nice always be similar to allow non experienced users to more easily find and take the leap of trying out maps/mods/skins/sounds.

also ofc have a search function perhaps categorized by the type of mod and categorize that and also be alphabetized.

Argentan Crossroads


INFO: was originally based on two very successful 1v1 COH maps. One being Langres having a manpower point snaking through the center of the map dividing it and connecting vital points. The other being Semois having +10 fuel points accessible near your HQ but also being harass-able. Things are rapidly changing and the end product will create dynamic cutoffs throughout the game which will really illustrate the intense flow and gameplay in Company of Heroes. The end goal is to have a map that is playable at the tournament level. This map will be intended to replace Kurland Pocket as my primary custom map for 1v1.

If this post should fall out of date at any point please inform me and i will do my best to update it. I will also add more maps in due time. If you have any suggestions for maps or otherwise feel free to pm or contact in some way.

My thinking here for this is that if there is gonna be a guide on how to download a map downloader there should also be some custom maps that are easy to access for everyone to download. You (the dev/moderators) have my permission to do whatever you deem necessary. (though I may be sad as a result of such actions.)
