Thread: Why has Relic given up on Modding?13 Dec 2018, 08:53 AM This game could have so much more potential than the age it already is currently at. If only they actually released full modding support and unlock all modding functionalities.. Is there a reason why Relic gave up on fully improving the Mod Tools? Player upgrades are mainly for commander abilities, so put the entry in normal upgrades. Hihi, sorry again for the late reply, I've been busy as of late. So I've tried many attempts including the ones you've suggested and they still don't work and I'm not sure why anymore. I think probably at this point I couldn't be bothered to mod the AI, really. It serves as a basic foe so I think I'll just leave it alone for now, but maybe when I do find a solution to the problem I'll add the fix. Once again, thanks for the assistance In: Modding and Tools

So I've been trying for the past four days but still no good results (I've tried both methods stated above). However, I did notice that whenever I were to give the AI a huge sum of resources, they will spam HMG-teams. It's pretty bizarre but, I guess it's a temporary solution to the problem. But it's not the solution I'm looking for and frankly I don't know what's missing. Have I missed out anything else besides army_bad and the settings in the economy ai? In: Modding and Tools
Thread: How to make AI use weapon racks?29 Aug 2018, 13:06 PM So I did a clone on the economy_ai but I'm wondering what do the properties do like "per_unit_scale" and "utility" etc. I can't find any helpful description when clicking on them so I was wondering if you guys could help me understand what they do? I've made a separate custom weapon rack in my mod, but the issue is that the AI is not using it (not equipping their infantry units with the weapons from the rack). Is there a function somewhere in the Attrib editor to make the AI do that action? I can't seem to find it.. In: Modding and Tools

Thread: Operation failed with error code 8:26 Aug 2018, 07:37 AM Good new everyone - I've decided to get a grip and try to salvage most of the mod. So I followed the advices here and started copying all the files of my mod into a new mod folder. I found some really EMPTY folders while doing that and got rid of those. I also took the additional effort of fixing some filepath naming issues with Notepad++ (that could've been done in the Attrib editor but it's a pain to do all that right-click). If you get the same error its definitely something in your mod. It's fine.., I decided to start over. I was attempting to fix the issue the whole day when I made a stupid mistake and now the whole mod is broken. Thanks for the help anyway. EDIT: I've managed to salvage the situation! Some of it you can clone and build, but not publish. Have you tried modifying the store attribs at all? Maybe the racebps? A tip for the future, BACKUP OFTEN, 1 time a week at least. I cant stress it enough, I know its annoying to do, but it will save your posterior in many cases. I did some checking and can confirm that I did not modify anything too sensitive like you stated. I'm still checking around my mod currently, but I was hoping if you could provide me a list of things I should check? Edit: I'm at a loss. I've checked round and round again, nothing in the Attrib tool seems out of place or unusual. I'm not sure what's happening. Please help, I'm desperate. In: Modding and Tools
