Thread: Light indirect fire (mostly in team games)15 Dec 2017, 08:52 AM Maybe lowering the damage and increasing the rate of fire on barrages would work. This would mean the dps is around the same but stops the crews from being able to wipe squads. If it makes you feel better LeiGs are getting buffed Increasing utility could also work, make the smoke faster and on different timer then lower auto fire ability. Personally I dont think mortars or LeiGs are that op, the issue is there is little counter play (besides calliopes ) which makes playing agenst those units not fun In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Restrict players to only 1 base building of each type8 Dec 2017, 05:53 AM Wehrmacht and Soviet players can build multiple base tiers. There is no reason for this therefore should be removed. This would prevent new players from building 2 just to realize there is no point so slightly reduces the learning curve into the game. It also prevents trolls who build 20ish buildings just to waste others time. As there is no legit strategy for building lots of these (that I know of) it is a useless mechanic so should be removed. The way i would do this is just by having a maximum to one on the field at a time just like a tiger. Just to remove confusion I'm talking about building t1 then t1 then t1 then t1 etc. In: COH2 Gameplay

Are these upgrades situational e.g mg spam --> grenades for smoke. Should i get get 3 or 4 squads before going captain and which ones Should i use the pak howitzer, mortar, both or nether i generaly play 1v1 but knowing for all game modes is nice. Thread: Storm doctrine broken in new patch V1.6.12 Dec 2017, 22:26 PM I agree that assault grens would be a cool fit to this doctrine and make it viable i would prefer them to stormtroopers tbh as it allow the doctrine to have early game field presence. Ass grens also don't have the mg upgrade allowing for more mines or camo. @Egion Im not a big fan of this as Pzb 39 AT rifle would not be that great without a ability that fits into the storm idea - some sort of stun with ambush camo maybe. Can be upgraded to antitank package (Exclusive) -In order to make this package more distinguishable from the PGrens it will add 3-4? Pzb 39 AT rifle that will not drop. Since there would be so many slot items, it would be best if it did not drop. -The damage would be equal to guards PTRS? -75-100 munitions The package is too expensive for such a loss to AI without enough at. players would be better off getting a pak gun, 320mp/280-300mp 75-100 munitons I do think that slightly different stormtroopers for each doctrine would be a awesome idea. Thread: Generally speaking, how to counter britis?2 Dec 2017, 09:04 AM Brits have weaker early game but scale well into the late game. Therefore try to put a lot of pressure on them, this denys them from placing a sim city/trenches on your door step. My strategy in 1v1 is to go for a sniper and cargo trucks from the assault support doctrine. this allows you to get into the late game faster and cargo truck allow you to take advantage of the Brit weak early game. Don't play this vrs usf or sov else you will get smashed if you don't know what you are doing. To stop the vickers getting into a annoying house beat them to it, if a vickers is overlooking your fuel you are trobble - dont let this happen if it does you need a sniper/motor/flamethrower In: Ostheer Strategies
Thread: Storm doctrine broken in new patch V1.6.12 Dec 2017, 08:52 AM When tactical movement got merged with ambush camouflage, in the jager light infantry doctrine, the same thing happened to the storm doctrine. This means the doctrine only has 4 ability's as tactacal movement just is not there. The doctrine needs a new ability as is weak anyway so now is good time to do it. I'm thinking adding stormtroopers or the smoke barrage or something entirely new to the doctrine would fit with the general idea of the doctrine, what ability's do you guys think would be cool in this doctrine. I would like to see this doctrine become powerful enough to be in competitive play because the idea for it is quite cool. In: COH2 Balance
