I don't think its a good nerf, the rifle nade is the only thing that makes it somewhat competitive with the USF rifles and IMO is still on the same playing field with most grenades. However weak ones like the Molotov could do with a buff |

You may be right, however my strategy in the early game is about containing the opposing force close to their base, and not really using your combat units for much capping. As the Kubel is no longer a good combat unit, i only really suggest you use it to cap points quickly while you carry on trying to contain the enemy.
A fast Kubel can dominate the early game if you use it right - which is hard. The reason its good is that it can be repaired rapidly so pair it with your sturmpio and get an early leg up and then use it to cap once the pio is forced to retreat. However, this is punished by the universal carrier so don't use it vrs brit. This may not be the best way but it is a lot of fun. |

In 1v1 panther is weak you are 9 times out of 10 better off getting a panzer4 or stug as these come a lot earlier in the game and do the same function.
Should you need more at a pak will serve you fine.
This changes going in larger game modes. As your allies can cover you when you get to t4 and the panzer-werfer and brummbar are viable, t4 looks nicer to get. You will need a faster army to 2v1 players making paks less viable hence, making panthers better. If you want to drive or rush you will be a lot better off with recon so use infantry, spotting scopes or the overflight to spot for you else you are likely to get snared. The mistake players often make it to not have support for the panther, you need the rest of your army there to support.You can still use the panzer
4 in 4v4 tho. If your opponent has Jacksons or fireflies don't make panthers instead go for elephant or panzer werfers.

Why get 3 volks before getting a Kubel, I find Kubel to be only useful early hence, I get it asap.
My advice
-make it clear that you are talking about 1v1 near the start
-put the map analysis, after how to play the doctrine
-make it clearer that pak43 can shoot though houses trees etc as not everyone knows this
On the whole, it's a solid guide so I'm going to be trying out this doctrine more. |

Apart from the new doctrines I don't think the meta is going to change to much apart from soviet as penals will fall out of favor as conscripts and maxims are now functional. I can therefore see conscript sniper scout car builds happening. Land lease cancer is gone so is alot of call ins. Overall i think it's going to be more about doctrine then build order. |
I think it got nerfed in this patch from 3 to 2 squads so now it is very rarely if ever going to be used. If i was in charge i would significantly buff it, then remove it from lightning war. This would make the 2 doctrine that have it viable to use.
I used to use it a bit in the last patch as it costs only 90 munitions so 90/3 = 30 so you could spam them for 30 munitions and use the rapid reinforce time of the half-track to keep them on the field, now that the reinforce time is increased this is less viable.
I dont think the mg42 upgrade for osttroppen is useful for relief inf as you are better off investing the munitions into more osttroppen
I think the way to buff it would be with a entire overhaul of the ability. An example of this could be inf can reinforce faster and with no cost but come out with osttrroppen models. I would do this as losing squads to get new ones just encourages bad play |

I've got an issue when fighting luchs and 222 as soviet t1 and just luchs when going usf lieutenant.
What is the best way to deal with these vechies?
As soviet I try to get a t70 asap to counter it, but it comes out to late. My BO is 2nd engineer scout car sniper penal penal penal t70 healing, is this ideal? or is there a better time to get snipers. Is it better to get ptrs/bazookas or mines in the early game.
As usf ill get m20 and try to bait into mines, however due to the nature of mines this is unreliable. Can the 50.cal and AA half-track kill the luchs?

I like the idea that mortars should be more vulnerable to flanking, it would allow for better counter play. What about mortars take extra damage from small arms fire, in exchange for better smoke maybe? This would punish players who don't use the mortar well, making players have to better micro their mortars.
I think indirect fire is not op, the issue is there is no counter play which is highly frustrating for players getting fired on. |
