Hi, I'm sure this has been addressed, but I was looking for some recent info. I'm new to COH2 and this forum. I finally beat the AI on hard, and I went looking for some human friends in the game lobby. I was a little disappointed that I couldn't find a game. I have a few questions that I would kindly appreciate some help with: Where can I connect with others that are learning the game like me? Any tips on practicing? I mostly spar against AI. I don't really enjoy the Russian campaign so far because I typically like human opponents. I was thinking of trying the Theater of War for a change. I play a lot of strategy and tactic games. I'm new to the genre and looking to meet new people that like strategy, war, and history. My steam id is captainwolf2002, so if you see me online, feel free to send me an invite.
Hey, I'll add ya. |
What's that game in the background of Mr. Tiong's page? |
Definitely. I'll keep that in mind for next time. |
I think it was the AT guns that saved the day. |
Thanks maann. I think the highlight of the match was saving that p4 Haha.

Sure thing dude. |
I think it wasn't that bad.
I would say the chat was pretty coh2ish
Sounds like you've seen a lot. What's 'bad' for you? |
It sure did. Things started pretty friendly. Split personality much? Also, it looked like they were 'abusing' snipers more than you throughout, so who knows what they're on about.
Picking up your dropped flammenwerfer with your grens was a good move. So was taking out that sniper with the flanking grens. |
Even though it's a win I still think there's room for improvement. I know that I definitely got careless in the end with my armour since I really wanted to finish off my opponent's base rather than just camp outside. |
I won't say that CoH2 has a bad soundtrack, but it certainly didn't make a strong impression on me. Who cares what it's supposed to capture? It's not going to matter if I can't even remember anything. |
I'm probably not qualified to give feedback, but here goes:
I think you did pretty well in the early to mid-game when it comes to map control. I'm not sure when it started to tip in your opponent's favour. Maybe when the Panther got destroyed? As soon as I saw that AT gun waiting for it when you were pursuing the Churchhill, I was thinking, 'Pull that thing back the way it came!', because getting the Panther out of danger via the right flank seemed to be taking the long way around.
