I'm hardly opposed to the idea of them getting mines as a faction, but I very much doubt that this would noticeably affect USF's performance. |
...but also make the mines deal some damage on the tank, upon impact.
Which they already do... |
I’m not a mod, but this is a strategy forum, not a balance discussion. There’s a time and place and I just want suggestions for gameplay in the current patch, not what should or shouldn’t be done about the next one.
Asking people not to turn every given thread into an excuse to whine about more or less balanced units |
A lot of people answered most points sufficiently.
Yes, how you play against this defensive line depends on what faction (and build) youre using, and most people already went over the general answers. I could go over the specifics of countering the defensive line with a faction + build, but id have to know which one.
As for the point about not letting an ostheer player set up and what to do about capturing ground, its kind of something you just have to learn by playing. There are too many factors you have to consider when deciding what to do when youve gained ground: (what units do my enemy and I have, how many units do the enemy and I have, how quickly can my enemys and my units get back to the "front," how low are my units, where are the cover positions/ positions of strength, do I have him cutoff/ can I cut him off, whats the resource balance, do I have healing).
If you want a more specific answer to anything youll have to provide a more specific question, unfortunately. |
And yes like I said unlike you I can prove your passive aggressiveness, I'm just giving you your own medicine here.
And that kind of thing will (rightfully) get you in trouble with the mods. Im not a mod and dont want one to have to come to this thread, so just do yourself a favor and stop right now. |
Shouldn't you be beating me over the head with snipers?
Textbook l2p issue imo. Top 10 players hit more retreat shots with snipers because theyre better |
Still don't get it. "linear" as taken from Google
If that's correct than that means accuracy, penetration etc stats change after they cross their thresholds.
If that is actually NOT what is intended, than I believe the word meaning here is "dynamic".
What vipper and loopdloop already said. I dont think anyone would use the term dynamic for this kind of graph/function/relationship, and I'm pretty sure if you tried to describe a non-constant linear function as dynamic in an academic setting, people would look at you weird.
Edit: beating you over the head with this
2x edit: that is to say, I guess its not necessarily wrong to say dynamic, just weird and unconventional because of how general the word is |
I mean what else is there to do? Everyones voice on this forum can be heard, but whoever screams the loudest is the most heard. It doesn't matter what they say be it biased or non, so long as its above everyone elses. There is also no way of preventing bias in a constructive way either, since all sections are open to all players (except da supa sekret circle of balance bois)
We prefer to be called The Knights of the Unbalanced Table thank you very much! |
Also, OP: are we ever gonna have that rematch this weekend or not?
Come on, dont do this :/
People should stop resorting to "1v1 me bro." It proves and solves nothing. |
Obviously not all of them are toxic. There are certain pro players who are toxic, others might be less toxic and others might be non-toxic at all. I think that most of you know about HelpingHans' rage (happened a long time ago, i wasn't even playing CoH2, nor i knew about the game).
Depends on which way "anti-pros" are toxic. I respect pros for their skill, i will not doubt it for any reason. But attitude and skill are 2 different things. I might like a pro for his skill, but i might don't like him at the same time because of his attitude. Again, my admiration of this skills remains.
PS : I'm toxic, but not in here. I'm toxic where i need to be toxic. And i know it's not a good thing and i must change that.
Right, that last point is pretty relevant. Hans isnt really toxic on this forum I think (unless this is something that predates my entry into coh2), mostly its rage on his own stream. Besides that, I can only think of one other "pro" player that people could possibly call toxic. That kind of proportion isnt really out of the ordinary (something like 2/32). |
