It is a upgrade. Then it performce nearly the same. But, the unit itself is more expensive, the upgrade should increase the damage.
But P4 is ok, the T34 is the one simply overperformes.

No, you don't get the point. You need to compare to the choices others can get if you pick Ostwind and as many times said Ostwind is useless to build. T34/76 isn't OP, but for it's price it is performing very well compared to price of Ostwind and what it's supposed to do.

We are talking about Ostwind here and how utterly useless it is to build for OST faction. And as you aren't even playing the game anymore P4 isn't the old P4 when it actually did something, it's been nerfed to the ground. I would actually say it's now only equal vs T34/76 while it costs more and usually have to fight better armored T34/85.
Yeah Ostwind needs some sort of buff, but that still doesn´t make the T34/76 OP in comparison to the P4. Not sure why people can´t just discuss the Ostwind without comparing it to completly different units in completly different tech-systems.
Quick test of mine, showing how T34 hard overperforms. it still has the MG-bug so it shoots without animator.
At range 10 T34 needs 13sec to kill the hole test-squad.
At range 10 PnzIV needs 25sec to kill the hole test-squad.
Result: T34 is op as fuck.

Just give ostwind suppression and a little more dmg/armour, so it required AT guns or medium tanks to deal with, rather than 2 squads of riflemen with zooks or 3 penall/guard with PTRS.
Thats a terrible idea. Ost already has MG42s and cheap bunkers, they surely don't need more suppression. It would just make playing vs defensive Ost players even more annoying.
To compensate the 3MGs of Panzer 4 T34/76 gets nearly the same dps on ist hull-MG. That means that it shots at one model instead of 3 random at anything. That is a real killing-machine. Also the main-gun is better versus infantry, for lacking in AT.
Tiger 1 is ok like it is. It could get some range-buffs, instead of 45-> Vet2 50 it could be 50 -> Vet2 55. In comparison with IS2 is has very less oae and survisibility. It depends on the map, sometime it hits nothing, sometimes it is ok. Last game I had one with 61kills... normally it is shit and neves has a positive statistic. Still bad for a vehicle with that high price and bad armor. (bad armor because so many counters, and less HP than Churchill) On a 1vs1 it loses against IS2. And Pershing has also more aoe, the better Tiger. (Beside Pershing should perform like Tiger, would be a massive nerf lol)
How is the T34/76 main gun better against infantry than the P4 main-gun? You are just making stuff up dude. Check stats before you make posts like this.
Also the Tiger is hit or miss but the IS2 is fine? Are we even playing the same game? The IS2 is indeed better than the Tiger but NOT because it has more reliable damage. The IS2 is the real RNG cannon that either misses completely or wipes 3-4 models while the Tiger does relatively consistent damage. The really good thing about the IS2 is 375 armor.
I think making KT more viable overall would probably be way better than buffing the already good OKW P4. Reducing vet requirements and better turret traverse would be a good start.
IS-2 I believe really needs just a veterancy 1 change to that HE shell we tested a long time ago to give it something to help smash positions/stun/clear infantry.
I'm iffy on straight damage changes, even if it's 122mm as:
-People will complain misses hurt it too much as increase damage generally comes with higher reloads; misses then hurt the IS-2
-It's either a nuke cannon vs infantry or it's the same as now so now you're worse with said reload; scatter changes would likely need AOE adjustments
-You only change the shots to kill vs select targets unless you enter the 240 range.
At best, deflection damage, maybe so it's more reliable vs other heavy vehicles and to represent the 122.
Agree 100%... Higher reload and more damage per shot is a horrible idea for the IS2. It would just be way too reliant on RNG to be useful.
