Thread: Easy USF fix30 Sep 2019, 12:09 PM Why would changing the starting resources slightly and making officers 80MP more expensive turn USF from OP to 37% win-rate? Are you out of your mind? The penetration changes from Jackson would only really impact Tigers and KTs. The only way someone can think USF is balanced in this patch is if they are exclusively playing 3v3 and 4v4 everyone semi-decent in 1v1 and 2v2 knows balance is stupid at the moment. (UKF borderline useless now too, so not just USF issue) In: COH2 Balance

(same as OKW) - make officers cost 280MP instead of the ridiculous 200 MP. - partially revert Riflemen buff from last patch. - remove veterancy penetration bonus from Jackson so it has the same penetration as Firefly. Keep HVAP as it is now. With current insane penetration of Jackson HVAP is meaningless and hurts more than it helps (because of the slower reload speed) In: COH2 Balance

Gren are supposed to be supported by a HMG at least (could be a sniper as well) and Volks by Sturm (and even Kubel) in the early game while Rifle are on their own unit T1/T2 unlock and potential HMG support since RE isn't going to be a game changer that early. So evidently RM must be superior to Gren and volks since they also face their T0 hard counter in the form of HMG, Sniper and Sturm. Sturms hard-counter Riflemen? Not sure what game you are playing but it's definitely not COH2. In: COH2 Balance

Grens still lose at all distances, as they are meant to. You have most powerful support units and sniper for a reason there. How does this relate to what I just wrote In: COH2 Balance

All other main line have real trade offs on the selfs or in the faction. Because they straight up lose to Riflemen, Infantry Sections and Penals and are about equal to 7 man Conscripts. That's what makes it questionable in 2v2+ because every long game is always going to end up with either several Panthers or Ele, Tiger, KT etc. Considering the KV2 costs as much as Tiger, IS2 and Pershing I don't think it's the best option for 90% of games because once enemy has a lot of AT you will just end up repairing all the time or losing it by getting dived. IS2 is just so much better with it's armor and anti-everything main gun. In: COH2 Balance

Tommies can't carry the load anymore and are a complete liability at any stage of the game. Hard to believe how such small changes had such a big impact. RIP UKF for now. In: COH2 Balance
