A UKF mortar pit penetrated my Panzer IV.
My sherman bounced something once. Weird shit happens. I also saw an ele round bounce once too (I forget what on). But leigs consistently penetrate pretty much any allied vehicle up to advanced mediums for some reason. Same thing with pack howies but not at 100 range on autofire. |
No need. I doubt ladders will change significantly because of this patch and resetting would just make for a few weeks of extremely frustrating games. |
I don't think nerfing the BAR will make elites more atractive, MP cost and bleed is usually the concern with them, not munition investment or moving DPS.
Though that will make the BAR more of a "chill in cover" weapon which is interesting.
The problem with elites is that there's no reason to make them when they come, as you already have at the very least 4 fighting infantry squads in anything like a standard build. You basically are forced to make at least 3 riflemen and then get a free officer squad so there's not much reason to have more ai infantry as opposed to say, hmgs or pack howies.
Especially for airborne, an easy fix (IMO) would be to make paths 0cp and paras 2, but lock weapon upgrades behind 3. Or you could do some weird stuff like make riflemen able to upgrade into paras or rangers or something like that. |

But that is exactly what the current LEIG is
Lolol. Don't forget it pens tanks too. |
regarding the mg hold fire button, is it just the gunner that holds his fire or the whole squad? cuz i was thinking of ambushes from the ostheer doctrines that have Ambush Camouflage
They have hold fire in live I think and all squad members hold fire so your ambush doesn't get messed up. |

Well, Manpower only unit that can barrage is insanely spammable in team games, I think thats why the ammo cost is there.
I'd just like to point out that it doesn't cost the leig 60 muni to frontally pen my shermans kappa. Although, back when t2 strats were actually viable, you would end up sitting on like 500 muni from just using maxims and cons lol. |
That doesnt sound balanced at all o.O
Yeah I think that'd make cons the superior unit period, especially considering hey have a bigger squad size. It also seems very uninspired. I'm all for cons buffs, but I don't think that's the way to go about it.
how does a rank 350+ know what is balanced ? o.O
i have been asking for month now, but this part of the forum should really be locked to rank 50 or less.
You slap him with the rank comparison, but the only rank I see on your playercard is okw 2v2. |
Your Stuka an Pwerf did far more damage than the brit arty did and you won the game, what's the problem? You spent the first 20 mins running straight down the middle ignoring left and right, and running into everything blindly, that's a L2P issue.
All that commander does is let you use the shitty arty through the FOW for Muni and build a god awful sexton. The Mortar pit was your biggest problem...
The problem is that he didn't instantly win the game just by selecting axis because allies are op if they have guns and can fight back.
Basically the only thing the commander is good for is maphax and taking down okw trucks without pushing. Soviets can do the same thing nondoctrinally tho with katys, which don't suck against anything else. |
This. Doesn't really help when the US's "versatility" is limited to racks/shell swapping/smoke (the latter of which is admittedly pretty damn good) and out of ~15 units, 2 are rifle clones, 2 are dedicated non-combat units and one is REs while another 3 are probably locked to you thanks to tech choice and your early/mid doctrinal options are all utter garbage outside limited cheesing.
Things are definitely a bit better with the FBP, but no amount of tweaking is going to fix their god-awful core design.
Don't forget that you'll never have access to a lot of neccessary options like flamers, mgs, at guns, rocket arty, and non-squishy tanks, depending on doctrine and tech choice. |
