idk if its just me, but has anyone had tank shells fired go through the enemy tank and disappear without impact?
IIRC I’ve had that happen to me before the patch even came out. May or may not be unrelated but I’m not 100% sure.
Are we going to be seeing hotfixes for this patch at some point? To clarify, not trying to be obnoxious, but just wanted to know, since some of them seem pretty annoying.
I get Thompsons every time. I’d personally rather have a squad that shreds up close than one that performs fairly well at all ranges by comparison, especially when literally every other squad I have does the latter rather than the former. Something about rangers with Thompsons is somehow a lot more forceful and intimidating than any number of rifles with BARs IMO, and they make a great flanking unit with Thompsons. As an added bonus it’s half the cost of 3 BARs and they won’t drop them every other model loss, and they’re just super satisfying.
The point is, dive and pray to god ain't a good strat. The size of the map is heavily lowered per player in teamgames, and gets worse as the player count increases, which leaves less opportunity for large scale and defendable pushes. I.e. frontal brute force is more plausible the higher the player count goes. Try brute forceing a JT/ele or 2x scotts as OST. Shit does not go well.
Yeah point stands but it's still significantly easier to kill at least one scott with a dive than an ele or jagd. Don't get me wrong, I think it's hard to kill well micro'd scotts, but now imagine that with 3x the health and a ton of armor too.
Easiest fix would be to give them the same type of camo that vet3 pathfinders and ambush camo ostheer infantry have. I don't really see a problem with it if grens (with fausts) can have that type of camo, as well as double schrecked pgrens, and it would make the intended camo bonus work much more consistently than it does now.
Made a separate thread on it but shouldn't the recon support pathfinders be reduced to 0cp also? They're the same thing but with only 1 sniper rifle.
Their arty should also probably be locked behind cp for consistency. No reason that such a powerful offmap should be availabe that early, even if it isn't all that useful early on.
Wouldn't it make sense to also make the recon support pathfinders available at 0cp? They're literally jsut weaker, slightly cheaper pathfinders and it would probably give a bit more flexibility to recon support as well. While the unit is being looked at too, the arty should probably be locked behind cp as well. IMO there's really no reason for it to be available immediately when no other arty really is, and it should probably be locked to whatever other doctrinal, basic arty strikes like the ostheer light arty barrage are in terms of cp.
