Personally I feel USF are in a good place, but m20 and zooks need a bit of love. Maybe a small AT buff on the stuart too. Quite happy with tech and officers, if they were not free people would ignore them and spam paras/rangers.
But not all factions do, are you forgetting soviets and maxim t2? It's a bit silly to change USF scope in regards to OKW balance when other factions still lack certain elements.
if OKW tools are that bad then buff them (really can't see what they are lacking bar the slightly UP MG34), but nerfing allies even more to screw up Ost balance is not the way to go. 50.cals already get nuked by rifle nades.
This sounds like a good idea, but you'd have ostheer and soviets with non T0 support teams. They'd either get dumpstered for 6 months cause thats how long you wait for patches, or this would probably be a no go.
I think you missed this^ |
factions should not be balanced around OKW
Rak is fine and balanced thanks to stealth/retreat, MG34 could use gaining vet a bit faster but stick on AP rounds and it goes to town.
They should be balanced around each other. I.e. if both factions have support teams in t0 they should be equal. Instead of 50 cal > MG34 and M1 > rak |
Jaegar infantry would be pretty good. get a blob of cloaking pschrecks, CAS, and the Jaegar squad. G43s also very good vs brits. |
- Remove free LT, Cpt and Mjr
- Move HMG and M1 in T0 with tier 1 or 2 unlock
- Lt, Cpt are now purchasable as they are when killed (manpower price)
- Reduce T3 price by half: unlock Scott and Major
- Mjr cost the other half of T3 price, when purchased: sherman and Jackson are unlocked
There is also a need to redesign Airborn with that.
This sounds like a good idea, but you'd have ostheer and soviets with non T0 support teams. They'd either get dumpstered for 6 months cause thats how long you wait for patches, or this would probably be a no go. |
I think the Ostwind was the unit cited for Hull Down losing its RoF bonuses.
The range bonuses remain: apparently they weren't included in offensive buffs.
That's also probably true, so both can be the cause for the rework. How they ever determined "range" on the OFFENSIVE armament to be a defensive bonus is beyond me. |
While I am on the Axis side here, putting a StuG or an Elefant in hull down is probably not the best idea as the cannot turn their turrets.
Put the ostheer panther in hulldown = God's Hammer. 62.5 range, 4 second reload. Defensive bonus damage reduction. This unit and this unit alone is probably the reason we're going to see the hulldown rework. Because the panther is starting to be reworked into a suitable state of current TDs.
Only problem is teching t4 in 1v1 |
What is this supposed to be proving here? Want me to make a video of a damaged FF sitting still trying to kill an MG while double stug drives up and wipes it in seconds?
hell I could do the same with one stug and stun lock considering in your sample the tank was only 75% health with no escape route. JP4 would have no issues killing damaged tank stuck on the edge of the map too
The point is, as stated above ^^ the turret IS FINE |
If you make USF tech more linear and friendly, they'd have to either nerf the power of the 50cal and m1, or buff the OKW counterparts. |
Something about the title, which is about "PLAYING USF" |
which is a poor example since the panther was stationary both time. The panther was sitting in front of a vicker trying to kill it, allow the firefly to take shot at it own leisure. Then it remain stationary as firefly drive up to it again
Even after taking both tulip rocket the panther still manage to back up, and would have likely retreated back to base if he didn't stop.
lastly, the panther was wounded already. 200+240+200 = 640, which isn't enough to kill the panther's 800 hp. The panther would have need to have been wounded already.
You did everything right, but it's not not a sign of how the firefly is worth 440 mp 155 fuel.
Eh, its not perfect, but there probably wasn't much he could've done to actually stop my firefly. Even if he did keep moving he probably would've had to move along the edge of the map and maybe I could've cut him off. The firefly did all the damage against the panther, I just didn't record the first shot that occured just before I started recording. You can tell the firefly had just shot since it was in range + vision from vickers and the firefly doesn't have a 4 second windup. My point is more, out of the 4 shots I took from that firefly it had 100% accuracy and 100% pen frontally. Also the turret to help flank the rak. Again 145F-140F and 380MP-400MP |
