GOOD
1. I really love the look of this map. Very cool post battle feel. Feels very urban which is very hard to do.

BAD
1. A little tight feeling. Four main paths to middle. Could be easily blocked by wire, ghost trenches, and MGs.
2. Some light vehicles did not seem to want to get thru the sides. They took weird paths. Just something to think about.
3. Two large smoke stacks cover your vision in key area on right. A couple large buildings also block sight. This is the problem with making a realistic urban map. The taller buildings block sight too much.
4. The mirrored NE/SW points/trench areas block pathing a little too much. Trench size could be reduced to allow the point to moved out of the direct path from base to middle.

POSSIBLE CHANGES
1. In the middle, the large train sections block sight and may even after damaged. This creates vagueness as to where you can see. However they are a major focal point of the map so I am not sure I would remove them.
2. The large areas in front of the bases will allow for protected mortar wars. This and the small number of narrow lanes may make this an MG/Mortar fest which most high level players hate with a passion.
3. Are the small buildings on East/west points balanced? They could be I did not try to test them.
4. Maybe open a path between middle and outside lanes. I would open it right at the junction of the middle and side lane buildings. This will allow more side to side movements. If you try to flank and get overwhelmed there is no way to move units over to assist. Your only option is to retreat. This would also help attacking units flank behind the side lanes, etc.

SCORE
7/10 - As it stands now this map may get a lot of vetoes due to the lack of flanking possibilities. Which would be a shame because it has a fantastic feel and look. I almost feel like I could root thru the rubble and find treasure

GOOD
1. Looks good.

BAD
1. Fix the obvious wheat mounds that are owned by North so things are VIS when they shouldnt be.

CHANGES
1. The long ditch lanes on sides appear to block VIS? They are deceiving. Maybe put some large hedgerows along fence to help players know they cannot shoot thru that area.
2. A few points have shrubs etc that pull INF from taking points.
3. The base bunkers could be better. You can attack buildings without being shot at. The massive size of the USF base makes this a PITA. Sometimes you need to put bunkers in the middle of a opening which creates pathing issues later
4. The buildings on the side VPs may become an issue. They are setup so each side has better access to them. Cool idea but, if someone pushes your VP early game they could easily have two well protected VPs and its GG for you. This may create the annoying "Rush to the middle" footrace that ruins this game. It removes tactics and creates randomness in a game that already has way too much randomness.

The whole point of this game is making the right units at the right time. You normally make infantry and gather resources by taking points for a few minutes. By 5:00 to 7:00 minutes light vehicles will hit the field so you need one or an Anti-Tank gun (AT). Shortly after that medium vehicles will show up (tanks etc). Then heavy tanks, then artillery etc. This is the normal loadout style. Some people skip light /medium vehicles and save up for a Heavy Tank. You have options

The game also has asymmetrical balance so the units from each faction are different from their counterparts in another faction. Some factions the infantry fights well at a long distance, some close up. Some get bonuses if they are in cover. The Wehrmacht army probably has the best mix of all unit types at this point in time.

A trick I like to point out to learn is there is a mod made for the game that lets you put any unit anywhere you want and let them fight it out. This will show you which units are good at beating others etc. In the menu you can create units lets say tanks. Then select one and set its owner to the enemy and the tanks will start blasting each other. You can also play against the AI/Bots and if you get run over just plop in a heavy tanks and destroy them

There are many situations you needs to learn but it takes 10 minutes to get to that point and it may not play out where you learn anything. The mod lets you setup any situation and try it out.

Playing in 4v4 games is also a lot more forgiving if you are new. The other 3 players can carry you so you dont get completely rekt in 2 minutes. But you will get flamed and blamed for the losses. Just ignore them they cry all the time anyway.

Also, your units gain veterency by fighting and using abilities. With veterancy they get buffed (work better). Dont let you units get below about 70% health. Retreat them if they do. They die in a non-linear fashion so they will go fast below this point. Each faction can make health to fix the infantry up and engineers can repair vehicles etc. Fight a little then pull back, rinse and repeat.

This is the classic 1v1 meta. If you are playing and all of a sudden start winning and getting map control it is because your opponent has stopped making things to save for tanks. He is weak for a few minutes while he saves up. He probably won the game early and has enough resources from then to win. When you start winning easily in the middle of the game, start making AT guns fast! KT is on the way...
