I like the idea of a indirect fire KV2 as it is creative and sounds like fun.
But honestly I think we currently have way too much problems with the current indirect fire.
yeah ..its really fun to play as okw, and get every minute rockets from a LM, Stalinorgel, caliOP, priests and 150/203mm artis on your trucks....

First of all, the flameHT wasn't changed.
Secondly, the proposed changes only affected the flameHT's anti-garrison performance, which is batshit OP.
Thirdly, if you have issues making FlameHT work on open spaces, please post a replay on the state office and a strategist can help you.
On topic:
It is always possible to rework units to make them less batshit OP and less map dependent at the same time (see Sturmtiger).
If people truly believe that the Sturmtiger is OK as it is, I would like to know what recon tools they use to take out a unit that can:
- Fire from 45 range
- Through shot blockers
- Comes on a faction with non-doc maphax
- Has the highest amount of HP in the game
- Can easily be replaced with another 160 Fuel
- when its get a turrent/ will move+ circle faster
- when its can reload on the move

it has a huge range...put it behind a shot blocker...and u can bomb all the time...it is better than a ST...since it hase fast reload and shot alone all the time. trust me...it will kill more than a ST in a game, when in good position. |

ST is brainless unit like old ISU-152 was. If you remember in old times ISU-152 wiped all infantry and beat tanks with little efforts. It has the same effect as ST on battlefield.

this unit kill only 1 squad per minute...mostly 1unit/ 3-4miuntes (drive to front..drive back..reload..drive to front), if the enemy isnt a totally noob.
guess what? a sherman/ T70 / comet kill in 4minutes much more. |
And this can acquit OP ST? Then why ISU-152 got different shells and removed ability to focus sight? if axis have best AT in game (shrecks, paks, elefants, jagtigers, KT and so on)? Maybe because old ISU-152 wiped all AT squads from another side of map with laser accuracy?
ST no need high level skill, after some practicing you could wiped units witl little efforts. Just use one squad to bite and shoot enemy. You can't see ST in fog of war (or you need choice RIGHT doctrine against only ST). Just shoot in maximum range and AOE will do everything for you, if you shoot to tanks, enemy can't retreat, and infantry have very little time to react on rocket.
good player can hear it...bad players too.

jagdtiger is by far the better choice in much teamgames...it has very good abilitys in this commander. The Sturmtiger is often a useless commander...only good on urban maps..
it is far away from Op and not much use like the LM commander or lend and lease. |
