If they were OP it would reflect on their winrate. Or maybe all the fotm baddies are attracted to them because of all the "brits op" hype and then fail horribly? Brits are a very powerful faction, there's no denying that. But they DO play different from other factions and contrary to a popular belief you can't just slap a bofors/mortar pit anywhere on the map and automatically win the game. In: COH2 Balance

It just makes it funnier and a little less toxic. See, the problem is that a profanity filter doesn't fix anything. A person who wants to flame and insult you will still do so without the usage of swear words. It's only a nuisance for the rest of us. I often find myself discussing strategy with my teammates in the heat of battle and I happen to weave in a swear word here and there. Then I realize that with all the gardening puddings my sentence has lost its sense and for somebody else it's very hard to make out what I was trying to say. In: Lobby

You then proceed to defend said mod and tell me to flesh out my argument (lol), while I've already made several posts explaining why I think obligatory profanity filtering is a bad idea. And don't even get me started on that "free speech" thing. If you're not insterested in an argument regarding profanity filters, why do you even bother replying to my posts? Just to call me an asshole for having a different opinion? What does that make YOU? Also, your little cute counting is irrelevant. This is not a place where we vote and fight as to who was right. On a side note, voice of the majority doesn't really matter - it's no secret that the majority is retarded. Only a sociologist would think otherwise. It's simple. It's their game/server/forum/whatever. When you install/register to whatever you are conceding to their own rules and changes. The thing is, they don't have to listen to swearing players. It's not that profanity affects them in any way - especially considering that their game is rated 18. It's really childish to sport this "I don't like this so I won't let you do it either" attitude. Forcing profanity filters in a game full of death, blood, gore, war crimes and SWEARING units just doesn't make any sense. No, it won't stop me from playing. And yes, I have a problem with it. As a person who swears a lot (generally not in an insulting manner) I often find it hard to communicate with others because of my sentences losing their meaning. There are so many censored words in CoH2 and they all get turned into the same gardening pudding. Makes it really hard to make out what the player was trying to say at certain times. It's a PEGI 18 game, not Club Penguin. Swearing is part of an adults world and depriving players of talking the way they want is just disrespectful. In: Lobby
Thread: COH2 Soundtrack versus COH126 May 2016, 15:00 PM The art style of CoH2 pales in comparison to vCoH in general. The gameplay may be richer but things like music, voice acting and UI are subpar. I loved the toned down and gritty aesthetics of vCoH. They just fit such a violent and intensive game such as CoH. The screams and shouting of riflemen dropping like flies under enemy fire really made a huge impression and contributed to the overall immersiveness of the game. CoH2 just doesn't have it. The voice acting of most factions (especially Soviets) is mediocre and cringe-worthy at times. I've disabled music in the game - and this comes from a person who ALWAYS plays all games with their respective soundtracks. It's just tasteless. It's a shame, because a proper soundtrack turns a good game into a great game. In: Lobby
