I have heard of this tactic before but never have I seen it being brought up and discuss thoroughly. Therefore, this thread will centralise around completely creating this tactic with build order, when to use and why should it be used. I will post an idea down (It will be 2v2 perspective mainly and it centralized around the Breakthough Doctrine) and only an idea, haven't truly tested so discussions and suggestions are required to improve: 1. Early game: - I think it would centralize around 2 Sturms and 2 Kubels: 1 Sturm to cap strategic building, 2 Kubel to deal damage and 1 Sturm to flank the enemies (if possible). Try to hold out to 2 CPs I guess (This part I really need help. I don't know what to do till 2 CPs beside from holding out). An offizier squad would be useful later on so get them too. When reach 2 CPs, pump out 2 Panzerfusilier squads and that basically is! The Kubel may not gonna survive pass mid-game stage so its only purpose would be help early and probably ninja-cap later. 2. Mid game: - You would want to go Mech HQ. Your army by far is a very potent anti-infantry force so you would want to have something that can deal with LVs. Therefore, going Mech would be good since you can get access to the Puma. - In my opinion, don't go Luchs if you're sticking to this strat. 2 Panzerfusilliers are potent enough to deal with infantry, especially with the offizier squad standing around so Luchs would be a little too much. Either get Puma (if enemy go LVs) or get the Stuka (if enemy has a heavy support-weapon play or being campy Brits). Extra MP should be spend on Rake (A pair would do great) or if possible, back tech and get the Med HQ for the healing and ISGs (if you want, probably 2 of them) or an extra Panzerfusillier squad wouldn't hurt. 3. Late game: - Until now, your army would be very much potent in dealing with any threats, especially if you go both Med and Mech. So at this stage, I think you should just wait for the Jadgtiger. Sure you can go Schwere but then getting out medium tanks or wait for King would be way too costly. Just go for the Jadgtiger, to be honest. And if you do go Puma too before that (Try to keep it alive since as far as I know it is a key to success) then not much too worry about Allies tanks: Remember to mine the area close to your JT so when they attack, they'll commit right into the mine where their engies can't sweep or help save the tank. Then it's up to JT + Puma (If you manage to keep it alive) + at least 2 Raketenwerfers to finish off enemy tanks. - The JT can also be a very good tool against heavy-emplacement play. Just don't commit your JT, protect it and let it snipe down emplacements slowly. Watch the campy Brits suffer! That's pretty much itn, I guess. Someone or some strategists can go further in-depth to say what's good or what's bad in this strat or can it works or not. Anyways, feel free to discuss, change, suggest and help improve this strat. First of all there is no such thing as okw players. OKW players here refer to people that play OKW in a match, not only play OKW, that would leads to complete biased! What I'm trying to say here is that when there is an Ostheer and an OKW in a team, most of people's mentalities would immediately expect that if Axis lost, it's completely because of the OKW or in a less drastic way, they'll try to find and point out every single small mistakes made by OKW and then claim the lost is cause the OKW and literally just ignored the Ost. In addition, sometimes, it's the Ostheer player that claim the lost is due to how bad OKW player is, no matter how much the effort was being put by both players (Not saying Ostheer would be bad but most of the time, they forgot to look at this element and just give the middle finger to OKW) In: Lobby |

It's simple: name a role of unit that OKW does not have. Sure they have literally all that kinds of units, but that doesn't mean they can stand alone and face all the judgements! That's like saying Germany having all good stuffs back in WW2 so no need for Italy and Japan! Any faction right now needs help from their mates in team game, no exception. But OKW, since having all good stuffs, so they just gonna be the one to blame in team games when the team lost!? That's just non-sense! If it's a lost then everyone should responsible for that lost, not just that one "used to be OP" faction. In: Lobby |

The first and third "they" : your teammate Probably just a rare case of mine but i literally had a teammate that claim me being bad (Even though i help claim two-thirds of the map and we basically won) then just straight-up leave the match. Like, literally, after 5 minutes typing, insulting me, not even try to plan something strategically, he just left while we literally in a winning situation (80% of the map secured, both fuel points and 3 VPs claimed and he left) and probably the reason he tell me being bad is just because i left a single 3-man Volks doing nothing (The squad was waiting for the Med truck to set-up to heal, the rest of the army were on the move). There, that's the kind of mentality that ruined most of my game recently! In: Lobby |

I'm not a good player, and I definitely don't have much time to play and improve my skill (Can only play like 3-5 games per week) so it's easy to see that I can make mistakes. However, what shock me is that if you make mistakes as Allies or Ostheer, your teammate would help you, but as OKW, they just straight up bashing you! Like, they immediately think you are very bad, not willing to help and sometimes just leave. Bad words and curses don't bother me, it's the mentality that bother. People still consider OKW to be an OP faction for brain-dead people, which they used to be BEFORE the patch. After the patch, OKW changed drastically and it's literally no longer that OP. It's actually required skills to play. But it seems that the mentality of the CoH2 community just hasn't catch up to the change yet. They still think OKW is OP and everytime someone make mistakes as OKW, they immediately being set as horrible player and don't even bother help cause OKW suppose to be OP, right? No. People make mistakes cause that make us human, human makes mistakes, but seeing a certain group of people get treated differently and unfairly just because they play a faction that USED to be OP is just straight-up make me feel outrageous! This has to change, NOW! Please spread the words! It's high time to change the way we think about OKW players. It's high time for them to get treated fairly like other factions player base. Remove setup but limit its firing arc like the stug(like the vcoh PE 3.7mm AT HT). Remove suppression, Buff/Nerf speed and HP appropriately. This, but don't remove the suppression. The USF AAHT can suppress, so I think it's fair to still keep the suppression (Especially consider the fact that the MG34 isn't that great at its role). The arc could be the same as the arc that the AAHT can't fire (Basically, the Flak arc + the AAHT arc = 360 degree). Also, I think it should get a penetration buff. I mean, the AAHT has 2 types of gun: the normal AA against infantry and a second burst-firing gun that reliably penetrate LV which has shorter range so I think Flak halftrack should be able to penetrate LV as well, but probably with slightly lower RoF. Sounds promising enough. I will give it a try when I can. However, there is one very stand-out thing that just seems rather odd: OKW truck can only place in Base sector (Which is good since it removes cheesy FRPs) then what's the point of buying the 37mm Flak gun? The rest needs an in-game try-out to actually see how it go, but overall, hypothetically, it could works. In: COH2 Gameplay |

Thank you for all your helps! I will try out the Breakthough Doctrine more often when I see heavy-emplacement spammer then. Oh one more thing, if I go the Breakthough Doctrine and one of my enemy go heavily emplacements, which I will go the JT and deal with him, but should I be too worry about the other enemy? I mean, I go 2v2 sololy so sometimes it's quite hard to trust your mate in helping secure your flank. So after the JT, should I go Schwere to have some kind of armour support for the JT or go Raks or even Puma instead? I know my mate can help but I need a back-up plan in case he can't. Well, at first, my objective was to dislodge the Brits player (I once succeeded so I really like the idea of overwhelm them) but when my army start weaken down due to low hp and high damage from 2 Vickers and IS, I was force to back down. Then I started changing my objective. I was telling my teammate to take the Soviet's fuel point, which in my opinion would be easier to do than against defensive Brits. So I told him to attack while I make a diversion at the cut-off. However, due to the lack of communication, after I retreated, he told me that he can't attack the fuel since there is an MG in the building. Therefore I had to move a ISG down to help. I was literally fighting 3 fronts: Watch for Brits counterattack while firing at his emplacements; Fighting to secure the mid-VP and Helping my mate fight the Soviet. That's a lot of fronts! And with my lack of great micro skills and constant bleeding due to Brits mortar pits, I hardly can stand a chance! The reason I rush for the Schwere was to get Obers to help boost my power against the Soviet (Again, I was aim for the left fuel while ignore the Brits and at the same time, hold mid to ensure VP) but the manpower situation and a lot of things for me to look at on the battlefield had cause me to completely forgot.
That mean I would be going both Med and Mec? I don't know man. I need Med to keep my infantries alive. Going both would delay my first medium tanks. If only the Stuka would be in the Schwere, that would be great (And fit more in my opinion). Also, I don't have the Fortification Commander (And the flame one too, but I have the rest). The Jadgtiger isn't what I really comfortable with: It seems slow, easily flank (I can protect it, but the idea of slow-turning turret doesn't appeal to me) and rather expensive to get in 2v2.
