First of all, it's "Wehrmacht" and "savagely".‎ Secondly, i'm not gonna waste my time in showing you how terribly wrong your "secret balance group" (Which basically just you, right kiddo?) is, but I still have some hopes for people like you. Therefore, here's a little run down for you: - Grens being too versatile... Their description literally state them being a "versatile infantry squad", but the most? You do realize that USF Rifleman exists, right? (They even have SMOKE for f*ck sake!)‎ - You want Wehrmacht to use specific doctrines to get their baseline infantry to perform better, while your USF and UKF can get duel-upgraded weapons non-doctrinally... So balance, heh? - You want to reduce their rifle damage, making basically the most fragile baseline infantry squad among all other baseline infantry squads to also become weaker at dealing damage... Might as well make them Partysans with pistols, heh? - Rifle grenade... The thing literally has the lowest damage profile among other grenades to compensate for their longer firing range. If you somehow see it wipe entire HMG squads then either a) They are low health or b) They are standing in the no-man land. - Sniper squad... Cover, man... cover... standing in open ground, got killed and then blame enemy squads being too strong... Genious! - Panzerfaust... for the first time since the release of CoH2, I finally saw a "secret group" bring the faust up as a reason for Grens being overperforming. Like seriously, how long are you going to keep doing this!? Do you even have a respectable rank at all factions? Do you have enough experience to do this!? Your trolling really makes me speechless now! The entire community along with pro players, modders, balance testers know the otherwise and you here stand out, claiming to have a "secret group" and tell a completely new fantasy out of no where... Ok... you know what... let's settle things down like this: Post a video of you and your "secret group" executing these tests in your balance labs. If you can't provide the video showing your tests, you are no more than a troll, spreading lies and hoping to get Axis factions to get even weaker so you can have easier wins, no more than a second Katiof.‎ In: COH2 Balance

To be honest, the StG44s upgrade for Volks makes them seem odd, rather than unfair. I have never seen Volks with StG44s a big problem since when you upgrade them, they become "meh" at long-range and "meh" at close-to-medium range (Add the fact that you can't pick up dropped weapons after upgrade which also make Volks seem rather weird). Meanwhile, like Vipper said, units that excel at certain range will basically get upgrade that boost their firepower at that excelled range (Grens with LMG 42 for long-range damage boost, Tommy with Brens for long-range damage boost, Ranger with Thompsons for close-range damage boost, etc.). In the case of Volks upgrade, however, after you upgrade them, they just become "meh" at all ranges (They can't out DMG close-range units and can't stand up against long-range units). Volks excel at long-range, so they should have some kinds of long-range-damage-boosted weapon.‎ Back on the topic: Volks beat Grens? If you use Grens out of cover then that's your fault, not Grens. Volks vs Cons is rather fair until Volks get the upgrade. However, consider the fact that Cons is no more than meat shield while you can get Penals as your main-line infantry while Volks is OKW only main line infantry before Obers come out at Tier 4 (10-15 minutes later than Penals), if you nerf Volks even further, how the hell they gonna survive before Obers arrive? OKW are hard to play into MG spam and your OST buddy got your fuel cut off and they pretty much had like 70% of the map at that point. (5 minute mark) OST : make 1 less sniper for an mg, way easier to hold territory this way OKW : should have went for mid and top cut off or farmed vet at bottom by flanking --> plant truck in good spot with leig and you have mid control most 2v2 the game is played depending on what your OST buddy does, since everyone knows what OKW is going to do (volks spam into leig..) Sorry I didn't state it clear but i'm the Ostheer player. I don't like going Sniper against Soviet cause their large squad sizes just make the sniper play seems unrewarding. Also, is it just me or Grenadier just don't stand a chance 1v1-ing the Penal? If that's the case then how the hell i'm gonna stop them without sending a pair of Grens just to deal with 1 Penal squad?‎ In: Replays
Thread: [2v2] Massive T34-85s Assault22 Oct 2016, 14:56 PM 0 VS MarteLL (CCCP) Hoellenfuerst LethalWolf ★★ §Royal Weapon§ ★★ [2v2] Soviet Industry? by: William Christensen map: Vaux Farmlands 4 - I managed to pull out this one match during my busy week, not a victory, but worth something for me to learn, just don't know what. We have quite a good start, I would say so myself (Manage to deal huge loses to the Southern Soviet player), we managed to set up a good defensive front, but it wasn't good enough to handle what it's yet to come. Out from no where, massive waves of Soviet T34-85s approached, threaten our defensive line. Waves got stronger and stronger every times. We were lack of fuels and lack of proper tank to deal with those massive number of T34-85s (Pz.IV would be weak against T34-85 while Panther took time and more resources to get. StuG only threaten them, not enough to take them down). After that, it just became the downhill for us. I don't know what we could do different, to be honest (I could have chose a different commander but which one in my load-out anyway?). can someone help me out here, please? Instead he's acting like a true fanboy crying for buffs buffs and more buffs for his favourite units. He doesn't justify his demands. He doesn't analyze the problems. He doesn't even draw a distinction between the 5 factions. Someone who doesn't know the basics of reasoning can not be argued with. That's why my answer was of similiar quality as his own post - you might see the irony in there. Oh I know he was being a little bit too bias since he only want buffs for Axis without consider changing the Allies as well. That's why in my post, I mentioned another reason that would make all his demands seem unneeded: Axis infantries' survivability. All Allies stuffs seem strong probably not because they are OP but rather because Axis infantries are so prone to get wipe (smaller squad sizes, squad formation, RA buff through vets doesn't as good as the Allies counterpart, etc.). If we manage to fix that first, probably other things would seem fine! ‎ In: COH2 Balance

I happen to know a faction with its strongest (doctrinal!) tank having less hp than a vet2 panther, funny huh? You mean, the Pershing? That thing has its own problem, and so do the Ostheer Panther. I'm not gonna talk about the Pershing here since the dude mentioned the Panther: Ost Panther need either a RoF buff or Accuracy on the move buff. Panzerwerfer was stronger once - it was cancerous with squads and weapon teams being wiped in 1 barrage without being able to run away. That was in the past. Now? The Land Mattress and Calliope just seems more effective. However, I think it's more because of the Axis infantries' survivability, rather than the vehicles themselves. To make it simple, just imagine what it would be like if Axis has LM and Calliope while Allies has Stuka and Panzerwerfer? It would be a buff to both sides, to be honest.‎ In: COH2 Balance

This, I agree. But at the same time, this basically sums up the reason why Allies reign supreme: 1. First of all, take all Axis and Allies indirect-fire weaponry out and compare, we can see that Allies have way more options and the Allies options, some of them, are more cost-efficent compare to the Axis counterparts. Examples are there, people with a good sense would notice this, Allies stuffs are just... better, not OP, but some are just better in an unnecessary way. This needs a look at. Either boost Axis' available weapons or give Axis more options or carefully nerf Allies' available weapons.‎ ‎ 2. When indirect-fire weapons and LMGs dominance the battlefield, you would need your infantries to have some form of good survivabilities (Not the kind of standing still and literally take no dmg, but at least they should be able to hold ground for a while before retreat if you micro properly, not instant retreat when you heard Calliope/Land Mattress' barrage). However, that's not the case with Ostheer's infantries. Being so fragile, they won't be able to fight against duel-LMG-equipped 5-man squads under constant indirect-fire barrage. It's both sides' problems here. Ostheer' infantries need some form of survivability boost (It doesn't have to be a 5th man but anything, something!) while Allies infantries need some form of DMG output reduction (LMG limited to 1 and terminator vet need a look at). I would go as far to say that infantry warfare should be change to where Axis infantries, fragile but high DMG output, go toe-to-toe against Allies infantries, good survivability but lower DMG output (Somewhere near how it used to be during the EFA, before the WFA release); of course, indirect-fire should deal with to compensate for this infantry warfare overhaul, but then it would literally mean a massive overhaul accross the board. Thread: 4v4 all brits on one team, 6 mortar pits9 Oct 2016, 06:45 AM If you play Ostheer, I would highly recommend the Encirclement Doctrine, especially in 4v4 against campy Brits. Why? Well:‎ - First of all, these campy Brits will literally can't do sht against the Close the Pocket (They can't move their emplacements). - Secondly, most of these campy bastards play with 1 hand only while eating ice-cream or sucking their thumbs with the other hand. - Thirdly, it's not really that hard to pull off the massive cut-off. You can just create 3 Stormtroopers at 3 cut-off points (Or 2 depend on the map) and cut them off and Close the pocket.
