I agree that it would be nice to get some commander that I currently don't have or something like that. But, I don't agree with self-entitled posts and gamers.
So the prize for our time and effort is getting something we all already paid for.
Not everyone has British Forces DLC (just for the sake of argument - I have it), and it's always nice to see that devs are giving away something relatively fresh and new for free. DLC is worth $12.99 on Steam, and instead of bitching around, you could appreciate it, if not because of yourself but because of thousands of players that don't own British Forces, and say thanks
You have a point, but I'm not so worried about losing, I'm more worried about my performance. I would just like to get better when it comes to decision making, regardless of my (random) teammates.
And, about game modes, I feel more secure when playing 4v4, plus I'm playing with a good RL friend, so 1v1 is not an option (but, we are getting ready to start our 2v2 career ).
I know you are all probably busy, and there are a lot of request for mentors, but I have to try. I need someone with experience who can help me out. It doesn't have to be hours and hours of work - I need someone to take a look at my two or three matches and point me out to my biggest mistakes. I'm playing USF, mostly 4v4 with my friend, and I feel like I always fail when it comes to ending the game (mid-late game decisions). I can usually put some pressure on my opponents in early game, but then I stop and then it usually comes to end-game Axis crushing us.
But, when I think about it, it probably helps me a lot because I'm new to the game, so early grenades fill the gap in my map knowledge and my overall game knowledge.
I'm a scrub and noob (playing only 4v4), but I've started to tech grenades really early in game, after my 2nd or 3rd riflemans. Grenades help a lot when dealing with MGs/garrisoned units.
I'm relatively new to the game (was playing COH and COH), but I'm really enjoying it. I can't give 10/10 because there are still things that could be better (MP with humans is really tough and unforgiving at start), but as I said - I currently enjoy playing the game.
