My personal take on it would be to roll bunkers, Tank Traps and the little mines together in one package. Give it a KV-1 for some late-game power to fill the slot, buff the DSHK AP rounds to not shit levels, drop the mortar popcost and make the AT gun also reliably snipe infantry, like a T70 cannon in the form of a team weapon. The M42 is never going to be useful as long as the ZiS is more easily accessible. |

Agreed. Or have brace only work vs arty so can can still stop the Recon + Divebomb combo, but being forced into a brace leaves the emplacement vulnerable to direct attacks. |
I'm with Vuther and elchino7, it should be its own building. It should be its own building since its impossible to balance as it is now, and if its going to give a firepower bonus, it should be accuracy. Boosted damage, as Relic has learned, is a bad idea. |
Just looking at this and isn't Propaganda War a little strong if its the CoH1 variant? For reference, the Soviet version is 6cp and only has a 25% chance (if I remember correctly) chance to force a retreat. By those standards, Prop War seems to be a bit too good. That and I'm not a big fan of the total Railway overhaul, but that's in another thread.

I just watched your game and your opponent was a moron. Early squad losses, late LT rather then Captain tier, no light vehicle at all despite your lack of Grens, poor initial doctrine choice and he blobbed like a jackass right into the same MG over and over again and didn't bother with smoke until it was too late.
Assuming you're the same level as him, you're probably making the same mistakes. Rather then coming here and making a claim about MGs, show a USF game of yours and we can give you pointers. USF is definitely harder to play at the low end then MG spam, but a good player would trounce that it a heart beat. |
It's AI ffs. Relic designed AI. I beat the expert AI with Wehrmacht engineer spam and panzer werfers, point is is that the AI sucks sh!t all day long, which Relic *ahem* hasn't bothered to fix as well.
What do you mean? Blatant maphacks, absurd backcapping, no unit preservation and arty wipes out of the blue and all other AI stupidity is clearly working as intended. |
I'm a little torn. On one hand, people are arguing about OKW and Americans in Stalingrad, but it looks like any war-torn European city. On the other hand, Soviets and Brits/USF fighting together.
I feel the aesthetic of Japanese maps would just be too jarring and different, unless they focused on the Soviet-Japanese War and made a lot of the maps in the Chinese countryside or generic islands. |

Personally, I like the idea of the Pershing as a more skillfull, glass-cannon kind of heavy. I'd rather give it support abilities like a crew repair attached to the tank itself and 50 range so it can outrange the Tiger/KT. |
