Hi Guys,
I finished and published my new map for COH2. Please feel free to check it out. It is my first map I ever created for Company of Heroes games in total. I'm very happy to get some feedback on how to improve my mapping skills. So please provide some feedback here after you played the map.
I'm particularly interested in the following:
- Sector placement and overall Voronoi.
- Progression from early to midgame. I wanted the focus in early game mainly on the city center. As tanks appear in midgame more areas should get accessible by tanks crushing walls. Does this work good? Do you like it? Do you not like it?
- Overall impression on how the map looks.
- blocked off areas. Is the map too big or to small. If so please explain your experience and preference.
- Performance of the map. Dos the map work smoothly when played? If not, how can I build a map with performance in mind. Which objects consume a lot of performance in worldbuilder and should be used with consciously.
