Thread: CoH2 replay Top 313 Apr 2013, 12:20 PM I'm actually a bit afraid that a obs system will never come... oh well, hopefully SEGA will see why using manpower to allow a RTS to have a chance to be taken seriously on a competitive stage, is a good idea in 2013. On top of the features already mentioned I would want a view of "squads lost" Kinda like you can see workers lost in SC2. To be able to check it with the click of a button and see all squads and tanks lost, as well as upgrades bought for them, would please this stat geek. In: Lobby

You shouldn't be floating fuel every end game if the system was perfect. I actually like the idea of customizing your territory income for your needs; it makes way for more decisions and build customization, if they are willing to put in a effort to balance and tweak it. Yeah, I felt that problem slightly too. It would probably be annoying if I were playing at a high pace and in a very competitive match. Make the blizzards appear a bit less (don't cap them to a certain number though, keep it in the back of peoples head that a blizzard could happen at any moment) let the warning come a bit earlier and make them dissapear a tiny bit quicker (currently it feels like it never ends, instead of being a sudden change of pace.) Thread: Visibility11 Apr 2013, 15:06 PM I don't understand the tac map thing... It worked the first few days for me but was nearly useless. It was good for jumping between location by double tapping, but I couldn't for the life of me see where my units were without looking for at least 3 sec, even when I knew were they were supposed to be. If anything feels like a downgrade from the original to me, that does. In: COH2 Gameplay

Not saying it's without problems. But many complaints seem to be against a lack of polishing and nuances, comparing it to a game that had 5 or so years of playtime for polishing and fixing. In: Lobby

Trees doesn't really break wind (ha-ha) like that though, esp not the kind of winds depicted in the game. Houses make perfect sense tho if they made it so you could clearly see which side the blizzard is coming from. (Now it looks a bit jumbled together, or maybe that's just my laptop struggling) In: COH2 Gameplay

Your troops move slow, you can't see shit. You have to sit in a haltrack, house or around a fire to not have all your troops die. It's well made, I give 'em that. But ffs, keep it out of automatch.. That's not my experience with it. During blizzards I started moving troops between fires/points, mortar barraging were I know fires are/houses/potential location were my enemies squads were hanging out (if they didn't retreat) etc. The pacing changes, but you can still move and maneuver around (the thermomoter doesn't go down that fast) and I think it gives a great feeling of isolation. It makes the game more tense and you have to make your moves carefully and advance with caution to not get pushed off, or push recklessly and gamble on getting a breakthrough. I can see tweaks added to it (it seems to last a slight bit too long) but I've really enjoyed it in the games I've played.
