Thread: Removed screck? At least rework a viable Panzerfaust26 Apr 2016, 06:37 AM - 2 minute cooldown, so more than infiltration nade. - 45 ammo per shot, on par with light gammon - Not homing in a game where all tanks are speed boats - Damage/ pen like Panzershreck, which means multiple hits must connect for a kill (At least 4-5+ for a Sherman) Ahhahahahahhahahahahaha. Very nice strawman mate. The difference is, should every rifleman become a moving smoke projector now that they actually have a mortar. The reason why Rifleman have smoke in the first place is since Pak Howitzer cannot fire smoke (that doesnt kill the rifleman :/ ), and they lack any other means of getting it. To clear garrison, it was Smoke + nade for USF while for OKW it was flame grenades from volks gren. So that is the reason why I propose, USF should be forced to use the mortar that they now have to provide smoke against team weapons. In: Lobby

It would be a neat nod to CoH 1 Volks, especially in combination with the faust. Plus, as I keep saying: OKW has no MP40s at all at the moment. And, even though StG44's may be "more historically accurate" they kinda feel too "elite" and overkill-like (not talking about stats) on a cheap, mostly not-so-well-trained unit like volks. Volksgren IRL actually got quite a few STG-44s as well, especially since it is a mixed bag of old vets, Kriegsmarine/ Luft personnel without the ships/ planes, and random potatoes. In: COH2 Balance

They need better squad spacing. Having 4 persons wiped by a single shot crom a Cromwell is silly. In: COH2 Balance

The only thing that has changed is an additional unit that can provide smoke has been added to t0. Do you really believe players will now get nades for smoke and a morter for smoke ? The only reason why USF needed smoke in the first place was that they lacked early game mortar/ indirect fire. In fact, WFA as a whole dont have early game indirect fire. OKW made got flame nade to deal with it. USF got smoke. Now that USF's early game lack of indirect fire is solved, why does USF still need smoke? It makes them a bit too versatile, don't you think with multiple different things that can launch smoke. It is purely my opinion, ofc. In: Lobby

I mean, the faction already has the Pack Howitzer (which is incredibly good), Mortar Halftrack, and Scott (kinda a silly unit but it's still there) for indirect.
