Thread: UK Commandos Smg30 Dec 2018, 00:25 AM It is purely a "DPS" thing. Bolt actions might hit you once every 2 seconds for 10 damage each hit. SMG might hit you 30 times every 1 second for 3 damage each hit. Obviously SMGs have really shitty power at longer distances tho. Spamming a bunch of absurd scenarios and comparisons to justify absurd changes probably wont do much. A reasonable suggestion in this thread has already been contributed, and most users seem to agree with it. Moved to CP0, buildable from OKW's headquarters building. G43 upgrade gated behind the first set-up truck, like Volks STGs. Sounds much more reasonable than the whining of Gbem. I would say still leave it in CP1 or 2 as a an infiltration call in, since it is OKW's only infilt call in. Sov have partisans, UK got infilt cdos, ost got stormtroopers, OKW have JLI, the only one that doesnt have it is USF but makes up for it with good infantry (Rifles, Rangers, Paras). In: COH2 Balance

Thread: Cannot use "Hold Fire" - Elite Troops stormtrooper27 Dec 2018, 04:04 AM As title suggests. Storm troopers called in through the Elite Troops doctrine cannot use hold fire. It makes the unit significantly harder to use as a disruption/ ambush unit since they cannot resist the urge to fire at max range with MP40s.
