Thread: UKF Assault Officer 9 Apr 2022, 17:09 PM I use him to buff Raid Sections, in order to be able to close the cap against units that have inverted damage such as grens, and help with flanking. Also nice having a unit that can insta-drop base arty and being able to do it in places where you don't have vision. Always build him, even on open maps. In: UKF Strategies

One should probably equip them with Brens instead that are at least cheaper. I have actually not noticed that, but since I always use the Officer charge with them mid-lategame. Then you end up rushing to cover and firing from there so I guess it does not matter too much. I don't put Brens on them since then they get inverted damage making them less effective when teamed up with the Officer. In: COH2 Balance
Thread: Raid section and 2x Vickers-K upgrade 23 Mar 2022, 06:42 AM As someone who uses Raid Sections basically every match, they do have some redeeming traits. In the very early game you are encouraged to be very aggressive and do very well against every axis unit in close-quarters except for Sturmpios. They however become really obsolete after the mid-game, when you have 5-man Inf sections with Brens, only being able to do something if you combine them with the Officer Charge. If you lose any Raids after like the 4-5min mark then you are better off just getting an IF-section. And yes you can't replace lost Vickers. Tactical Support is honestly my fav commander because of the Command tank, and the airdrop is amazing. A cheap AT-gun, normal mortar and 3 "emergency crates" that provide buffs, (for all units allies included). In: COH2 Balance

Thread: UKF Designate Command Vehicle24 Oct 2021, 15:20 PM I use it in every 3v3 and 4v4 game I play, the effects help cope with the constant lack of manpower as UKF, since your boys will be dying slightly less, but where it really shines, as you said, is in buffing tanks. buffing Fireflies with tulips can easily let you decimate a tiger in seconds, if you space out the tulips enough to make the stun last longer. The vehicle I put it on is actually the Centaur, after it has "served it's purpose", this being when the enemy has 1 or more panthers, and you can't just roll it up to the front line and shred anymore, if you get some vet on it, it will still be an acceptable AA-piece, and many will panic and run away if it start shooting at them, even tho it can't land shots at all because it's a command tank.
