Problem is than then 200 mp infatry will be able to dislodge garrisoned mgs on its own.
I am not 100% sure on this but I think in past tests I noticed that while flamer ground attack works with normal sightblockers, it does NOT work through smoke

This will never be a thing because you cannot prove if the person didnt always just drop because of internet crash or because of a RL emergency as long as they dont write in chat every time. And as Rosbone said.... even though personally I almost never drop THAT early, you shouldn't be forced to stay in a lost game due to: - teammates who are afk since 3+ minutes already - rank 1000+ vs rank 50 (CELO) type of games - troll teammates - etc. In: Lobby |

Still can someone answer with actual numbers and stats. I once learnt that PF with g43 arenot snipers they are more SMG.in my experience they are smg not long range at all. Actaully g43 make them worse than volks long range. They annihilate at close rane. Get numbers pls https://www.coh2db.com/stats/ Their K98 and G43 stats are up to date and as you can see: - at long range, the K98 of both squads is roughly the same.... but on mid and short range its pretty garbage compared to volk version. - The G43 is a bit better than stg44 on closerange but at midrange, the volk stg is better. On longrange its roughly the same again. So in total, the fusiliers with G43 have a tiny tiny bit better longrange dps and better closerange cuz of the 6th model. And slightly better moving dps (stg44 isnt bad here either with 0.75 accuracy modifier). But personally I dislike fusiliers. They're more expensive (mp and ammo) than volks but for what? DPS that is -to me- barely noticeable any better because most fights happen on long to mid range. Also, locking in a commander immediately at the start means you can get counterpicked or counterplayed. And trash early game if the enemy closes the distance. Also keep in mind: - no sandbags which can be a pain in the ass if the map doesnt offer good cover - no incendiary nade so you cannot deny cover/houses - no veterancy self-heal - volks get a -10% received accuracy bonus at vet 1 already. Fusiliers are target size 1 until vet 3, where they then have the same target size like vet 3 volks. Meaning they can drop like flies before that. 10% less damage from small arms fire can make a huge difference in the early game https://www.coh2.org/guides/29892/the-company-of-heroes-2-veterancy-guide But yes, looking at G43 fusiliers in a complete vacuum, they are the superior squad In: OKW Strategies |

Thread: How do you guys know so much about units and the game?30 Sep 2020, 19:39 PM
Oh and the most basic other stuff is something that I learnt over time through google and asking other people. Short version: Target size: The value that determines how easy it is to receive a direct hit by the enemy with this unit. If a unit has a received accuracy bonus, it means that the target size of that unit gets lowered. Infantry also has a target size which is usually between 0.5 and 1.25 Accuracy: The accuracy value is the chance -multiplied with target size of the enemy- for a direct hit. For example: If a panzerschreck has 4% accuracy and an IS2 has 22 target size, that means 4*22 = 88% chance to hit. Note that the accuracy values depends on how far the target is away Scatter: If a shot misses (accuracy RNG roll failed), then it scatters around the target. AoE: Area of effect, the area in which the projectile deals damage. Burst Duration: Keeping it simplified, this value basically determines the rate of fire of full-automatic weapons at certain ranges In: COH2 Gameplay |

Where do you guys get all the unit stats and all the data on how units are able to perform or when they are not performing correctly? https://www.coh2db.com/stats/ ^ 80% is up do date, and the other stuff is something that I try to remember from the patch notes of the last 2 years. Two other very important guides if you wanna learn stuff: https://www.coh2.org/guides/29892/the-company-of-heroes-2-veterancy-guide https://www.coh2.org/guides/88945/the-coh2-ability-guide-mark-2-0 Knowing all this stuff is not necessary to be a high level player but it can make a noticeable difference In: COH2 Gameplay |
