Worth noting too is that the tiger rear armor went up, as Endeav said. I think the buffs more than make up for the increased rear armor though, especially since they decreased the tiger's front armor. Despite that, the IS-2 is still a crappy tank for the gigantic amount of resources you invest into it. In: COH2 Balance

If you need further explanation, here; IS-2 was shooting itself and the Tiger at the same time. Thread: What would you change/add (if anything)?13 Aug 2013, 07:27 AM Some ideas: Rifle reinforce cost to 23 mp. This brings them in line with other squads at 50%squad cost/amount of squad members. This should also indirectly reduce the effectiveness of snipers slightly Snipers have an anti-zeal modifier (increases received accuracy the more snipers are nearby). This makes 2+ snipers easier to countersnipe as well. I believe this was originally Tommy's/Aimstrong's idea. Stormtroopers give less xp when killed. Right now, calling in storms really hurts you in the long run once rifles start vetting up extremely fast. Also one of Tommy/Aimstrong's ideas I believe. Inspired assault buffed. Pretty much no-one is using this now, especially since weapon crews receive no buff on their heavy weapon. Escalate to T4 costs less fuel (perhaps something like the T3 escalation cost). We almost never see T4 from wehr in a 1v1 unless they're massively ahead (which most often means you're playing Langres). This should make T4 a viable alternative to T3. Fix strafe near buildings! Open a gap in the middle hedge on Langres (near the VP). Because more flanking on a Wehr favored map is good. Don't care about PE/Brits, there are pretty much no good players who play them enough to judge balance. I honestly just think they're fundamentally broken, making them way too vulnerable to certain things (3e-4rifle-sticky-td and grenspam respectively) which means they need their bullshit like focus fire, overdrive, insta-pin, canister, staghound mg bug, etc. to make up for it. Are you incapable of the logic and pattern recognition required to recognise the immediate and apparent asymmetric relationship between the Mortar HT and 120mm as doctrinal options? Mortar HT has absolutely nothing to do with either of the non-doctrinal Barrage options Sov has. Do I have to draw you a fucking schematic? Please do. What "immediate and apparent asymmetric relationship" reads like is "they obviously have something in common but they're still different" which pretty much says fuck all. My point is still that you cannot simply compare a single part of the faction in a vacuum when they are so different. Since you apparently do not agree, comparing only a small group of units with a precise role to each other (indirect fire options) and single units and abilities (such as the molotov and rifle nade), I gave you an example of how the disparity in tank options for the two factions at equivalent tiers could balance out the indirect fire options. This I backed up with statistics, did I not? I did actually count the amount of tanks available. Nice ad hominem btw. Appreciate it. @Dave: good for you. iirc the Ostwind does decent damage to even the T-34, so why shouldn't I count it as one if I count the T-70 too? In: COH2 Balance
